The West Boca Athletic
Association (WBAA) is the umbrella organization for recreational and travel sports in West Boca Raton, Florida.
The following are the purposes for which SWARA has been organized:
1) To encourage the interest of children in baseball, football, hockey, soccer, softball and other sports by coordinating the establishment, physical facility utilization and existence of recreational and competitive youth sports programs.

West Boca Youth Baseball!
Evaluations are this weekend. Sign up now for a great season of baseball. We now have our 11 and 12 year olds playing at South County Regional Park. We have continued our partnership with the Marlins so we will be having a Marlins special event again this season as well as taking our coaches to the Marlins Stadium. Log on to www.westbocayouthbaseball.org We are looking forward to an exciting Spring season with Opening Day on March 3rd. Season will start the first week of February and evaluations will be January 20th(see times on website). So sign up by Friday to avoid a late fee!!!
West Boca Youth Baseball is looking for a couple people to work the concession stand at South County Regional Park and Sandalfoot Park for our Spring Season. Responsibilities would include setting up concessions tables and products, selling the product, working the grill, restocking and putting things away at the end of the day. Hours would be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 5:45 to 8 or 9 depending on the day. Also Saturday from 8:45 until 2 or 4 pm, depends on the day. This is a great job for a retired person, high school or college student. These are paid positions. If you are interested please email [email protected].

LAST chance to register without paying a late fee, you must register today!!! Player Evaluations will be held on Saturday, August 19th at Pinewoods Park. PLEASE REGISTER ONLINE PRIOR TO EVALUATIONS, westbocayouthbaseball.org. Please arrive 30 minutes early to check in. Dress in full baseball attire and bring your equipment. If you did not play for WBYB last year please bring your birth certificate for age verification. Concession stand will be open.
8:30 am Tball - 4 to 6 years old - May 1, 2011 to April 30, 2014
10:00 am Rookie - 7 and 8 year olds - May 1, 2009 to April 30, 2011
12:00 pm Minor - 9 and 10 year olds - May 1, 2007 to April 30, 2009
1:30 Major (11 -12) and Babe Ruth (13 - 16) and Make up Division - All other ages
If you are interested in coaching this season you MUST be registered online to coach. Please go to westbocayouthbaseball.org and login to the account you already created for your child. Enter yourself and indicate whether you would like to coach or manage. The board will select coaches from this list so if you are interested in coaching please make sure you are registered prior to evaluations.

Saturday, August 29th FAU is hosting a free movie night at their stadium and has invited West Boca Youth Baseball. They are playing the LEGO Batman Movie. The kids will be able to watch it on the field of the stadium this is going to be an awesome event! Gates open at 6:30 movie starts at 8:00 pm.
Head on out for a great family night and support the FAU owls!!
