Just found a supplier of old medical equipment and I put in my first order with them and I am SO excited to show you just the start of the cool antique medical products we will offer. Keep an eye out, we are gearing up for some exciting new stuff.

If you didn’t catch it in the reel, here is what will probably be my counter at the shop! This an embalming table from the 1900’s made from porcelain and cast iron. Let me tell you this bad boi was heavy as hell. Need some slight repairs but once completed it will be stunning, or do you think I should keep the minor damage?

Also loving the vibe it brings to the basement. It was showered with love and care in the transport and the energy is so light. No NEW weird occurrences have happened in the house. 👀

Howdy folks. Posting my face to say Hi!! and give you a little sneak peek at something I have been holding out on.
Reason for this post is I have been thinking a lot about this page and the lack of content. When I go to make a post, I want it to be perfect and I will overthink everything and then end up posting nothing. Question for business owners out there who have been where I am, any tricks on how to manage this better? I have tried making the weeks content in one day and scheduling posts, but can’t seem to nail it down.

Each item that will come through the store will be unique and a statement piece no one else will ever own. Also looking for Vendors who make/refurbish their own furniture.

Just the start of some of the old cathioic/christian items. Gothic culture takes a lot from christianity and religion and turns it on its head. I grew up in the church, and while these items scare the crap out of me, I still have a huge fascination with them.
I am on the hunt for a last rights box, anyone know where to find one??

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am the face behind Bad Ashes. I wanted to introduce myself to all of the new followers here and thank you so much for following me on my journey to opening the oddities store.

This dream comes from damn near two decades of fascination with the dark and scarier things in life. I found as I got older, there are a lot more people like me, even if they don’t display it. Then I stepped into Hail Dark Aesthetics in Nashville, Tn and it awoke a desire to bring the Lehigh Valley an Oddities store of its own. I attended Wicked Botanist’s Oddities fair in Allentown, Pa last year and was blown away with what talent the valley has and also how many people love what I do. I knew from the moment I left Hail in February that I wanted, no needed, to have a store in my area that is open all year round for all of those flocking to the convention.

I was a retail manager at GameStop before my current full time job as a Quality Assurance Engineer, and being behind a desk everyday has made me realize retail is where my heart is, and my heart wants to be surrounded by like minded people again. Video games is still a huge part of my life, but as I get older I find myself buying wet specimens instead of the new Diablo. (I still bought it tho) Fallout will forever have the most special place in my heart, so don’t be shocked if you get some little extra’s featuring Nuka Cola!
