Sara Kimbrough found her passion in cooking. She participated in the Junior Iron Chef Competition and has been in the CCISD Culinary Arts program at Clear Springs High School the last three years. She plans to go to Stephen F. Austin University in the fall and wants to open her own restaurant and bakery someday.

Matt Marion-Lowrey came to Clear View High School during his sophomore year. After taking a beginner’s welding class, he realized he wanted to learn more and possibly make a career out of it. Through CCISD’s Welding Program, he will now graduate today with six certifications, making him qualified to enter the workforce right after high school. He will attend San Jac in the fall to finish a few more certifications before going into the structural welding field.

Grayson Mulready's journey has been one of resilience and determination. After transferring to Clear Falls High School, he faced a major setback with a broken arm that threatened his varsity baseball and college dreams. On top of this challenge, his mother was diagnosed with cancer. Despite these hardships, Grayson and his mother stood strong together, finding strength in each other to fight, celebrate, and heal. He is proud to announce that he recently signed to play baseball at Sterling College this fall. Watch his story below!

League City Elementary hosted a Robotics, Coding and Computational Thinking (RCC) Showcase to give parents, staff and community members the opportunity to view end-of-year projects the students have been working on. This program offers content-rich experiences to enhance the regular curriculum while focusing on learning various computer science skills. Some of the student-led projects included a fully-coded phone app, animated storytelling to understand math problems, lifecycles with coded robots, and reading comprehension with plot development coding.

Dharani Pentakota embodies the Coyote spirit as a graduating Clear Horizons Early College High School senior. Dharani's journey to the United States during her middle school years presented her with the challenge of adapting to a new language and culture. Despite these obstacles, she exhibited an unwavering commitment to mastering the English language. During her senior mentorship with a cardiologist at Memorial Hermann Southeast, Dharani showcased her creativity and initiative by creating a 10-episode podcast to educate others about cardiology. She will attend UTMB to major in clinical laboratory science.

Due to continued inclement weather, the Clear Horizons Early College High School Graduation Ceremony is moving to the Clear Springs High School auditorium, 501 Palomino Ln., League City, 77573. Ceremony start time is 10:00 a.m. For students who do not have cars at Challenger Columbia Stadium, buses will transport them to Clear Springs. Due to these circumstances, the livestream will not be available.
Grayson Schreiber strives for excellence in every aspect of his life. As a dedicated four-year member of Clear Creek High School's theatre and choral departments, he has earned numerous accolades for his exceptional talent. Grayson has also contributed his skills to the Bay Area Arts Conservatory and generously volunteered with various community organizations. He has also been described as an instrumental leader for the Class of 2024. Watch his story below!

The main word Ava Jacobs would use to describe herself is determined. She was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer when she was 13 months old and was only given a 5% chance of surviving. Today, she is thriving as a soccer player, cross country runner and violinist, and will be graduating summa cm laude tonight with the Clear Lake High School Class of 2024. She was determined to give back to the community that supported her by both volunteering and supporting the national charity her family started called Brave Hearts For Kids, which helps those going through pediatric cancer treatment. She will be attending Texas A&M in the fall with hopes of becoming a pediatric nurse.
