Another introduction for our next Spiritual Sacred Space on Friday 17th May - Laura from Oak Osteo.

Hello, I am Laura, I am a qualified and registered Osteopath and have been running Oak Osteo here in Ashbourne since April 2022. I spent years working in the outdoors before moving to Ashbourne in 2017 to retrain as an Osteopath. I currently live with my cat and enjoy ‘granny hobbies.’

Osteopathy is a hands-on profession that focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, prevention and rehabilitation of the soft tissues, joints, and bones. Most importantly though it is patient-centred, offering a holistic approach that is individually tailored to you.

As a practitioner I strongly believe in making the treatment as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. I can offer a variety of techniques, most of them gentle and often allowing changes to happen without aggravating your symptoms. Knowledge is the key to managing your condition so I try to give as much of an explanation as I can as well providing advice and exercises for you to try at home. You are not alone on journey, and I encourage my patients to contact me whenever they need any help or advice. Ultimately, I want to get you back to doing what you enjoy with ways to manage your issues and prevent further flair ups.

Hello all 💖
I am Laura, and I run The Warmi Collective. Predominantly, it is a place for women to come and feel supported, to find their inner Warrior Goddess ♀️.

I facilitate women's circles, having lots of experience facilitating healing circles with a learned and experienced healer.

I also offer postnatal support following training as a birth doula, as I know from personal experience how invaluable this support is with a newborn baby.

Following my own miscarriage, and noting the lack of support women receive during this time, I also offer miscarriage support in the form of phone/video calls and possible attendance during baby loss, and baby loss rituals to help lay baby, and yourself, to rest.

Finally, I also offer Angelic Reiki to both women and men.

I am so happy to be present at this sacred event, and look forward to meeting you all. Lots of love!

Way back in Novermber, I brought 3 sets of these. One for me, one for and one for as a little reminder of our first we held.

They were left alone, in the cold and dark. Hibernation and rest took hold, but deep below, something was stirring, ready to emerge in the spring.

The three of us, too, have been resting, but now plans are being made, roots are taking hold, and exciting shoots are emerging in preparation for our next event on Friday 17th May.

"My name is Keziah, I have a holistic therapy business that I run from my house in Mayfield, Ashbourne. I have a 10 year old son and a little dog.

I studied complimentary therapies 4 years ago at White Rose College in Derby. Previously, I worked as a hairdresser and studied at Vidal Sasson. Although I still do some hair, I wanted to go into holistics full time, as I feel that is what I always wanted to do.

After losing my dad to a blood disorder, that I also carry, it motivated me to look more closely at holistic health and to understand the connection between mind, body and soul.
