Hey hey! Just a quick fitness motivation video letting you know that no matter the stage you are in this lifestyle, s**t happens. I’ve been experiencing DOMS after an extreme workout and I’m loving it. Not because I love pain but I know the pain means it’s working. Just manage the pain, involve yourself in proper recovery, then do whatever you did to get there again! IT’S WORKING! Peace, Blessings, and a snatched body peeps!

. During “that time of the month” I hold hella water weight. I get super bloated, feel extremely heavy, and just look extra round in my midsection (seen in this pic and the other 2 before it). Worse part for me, it starts 2 weeks before my actual cycle. So that means for 2 weeks I’m premenstrual then for 3-5 days I’m menstrual. I gets NO break! The joys of being a woman, right? But, I’ve learned to accept and manage it. Although not always completely successful, my management techniques definitely help. Here are some ways I manage my bloating and healthy lifestyle during that time of the month

1️⃣ Avoid food that will increase my bloating. Beans, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, etc. Look up Cruciferous Vegetables and raffinose

2️⃣ Continue my daily ACV (Apple Cider Vinegar) shot or mixture

3️⃣ Maintain my workout regimen. Increasing cardio. I listen to my body and give it what it needs in this time but I don’t NOT workout. Although I’m extra fatigued and moody af, I make sure I’m flexible and adjust according to what my body can and is willing to do but I gets my werk on

4️⃣ OWN IT! It’s part of life and, giving life, essentially. So, it’s ok. Mentally, physically, and emotionally I prepare as much as I can but, ultimately, I just ride the wave and say the serenity prayer. Lol

was litty! 🍑🔥💪🏾 We found shelter in this rain and made it work. The most rewarding part for me was witnessing everyone support their sister when needed. Screams, chants, and cheers from everyone to motivate, push, and empower everyone. I didn’t have to do it alone.

Are you really ready to commit or are you just talking? Check your first. Undoing long term unhealthy habits is not easy but it is possible! Here are a couple of tools that will help you stay focused in the beginning:
1️⃣ Have a vision of what you want to achieve and put it on paper. I do a “fitsion” board. Similar to a vision board but focused on health and wellness
2️⃣ Plan, Prepare, and Repeat. Plan your meals, workout schedule, etc. Prepare your meals ahead of time. Prepare your gym bag the night before and put it in the car. Repeat this routine daily. The repetitiveness will help it become a regular part of your day & you’re more likely to stick to it

3️⃣ Get someone to hold you accountable. A workout partner, accountability partner, even a trainer. Just answer to someone other than yourself. For some reason we are ok with letting ourselves down more than we are with letting others down

4️⃣ Educate yourself. Going in blind is a huge discourager. Know what you’re doing and if you don’t

5️⃣ Seek professional help. GET A TRAINER! You’re worth the investment

6️⃣ NO COMPARISONS OR GIVING A DAMN WHAT OTHERS THINK. This is YOUR journey. Take it!

#2018. . . It’s the end of the year/4th quarter and time to , , and . Not only on business but also on self. In this last quarter of the year I’ve been dealing with “Emotional Intelligence”. I admit, in most situations I’m able to control my emotions, in some, I’m a HOT ASS MESS. But my goal is to master them in all situations and to remain in control as much as possible.
What was your biggest self-challenge this year?

I hate shoulders but nothing looks better in a tank than nice sculpted shoulders (some may argue against that 😝). Lift for gains ladies! Workout with my personal trainer even the coach has a coach. 🤦🏾‍♀️

360 mountain climbers with the resistance from the sand (and the heaviness from the rice and peas and alcohol 😂) near the ocean is my type of vacay workout. You can see the struggle 😂 but I’m doing it .

. Christina just finished 3 months with me. She is the epitome of , , and trusting the process. When we started in April her short term goal was to wear this black dress to a wedding she had to attend in June (this past weekend). I must say, not only did she meet her goal, she smashed that ish! She is working this dress hunni!
Over these last few months, I coached her as she worked out, ate well, loved herself at every stage in the process, and lived! It wasn’t easy and she dealt with a lot of personal things but it didn’t deter her from her fitness goals. One of my rules is “I can’t” is unacceptable. NO excuses.
She’s looking and feeling better in her clothes and in her skin & promised to stay on track to a better her. I’ll still be checking in though! I’m so proud of you . 🤸🏾‍♀️🏃🏾‍♀️😍😊 You did it and will continue!

The person I left out (for his privacy) to her side is her wonderful husband. He was a huge support in her process. I remember I went to their house for a check-in and she told him what she weighed in at. He was more excited than she was. They did this lil clap thang and was yelling “ah” every time their hands touched with the biggest smiles on their face (so Miami! 😂😂 Neither one of them is from Miami though) and I loved it. That warmed my heart because I understand the importance of the support from a spouse or the person you share your life, time, and space with. The person you eat with. It truly helps when they believe in and support what you’re doing. So shout out to her hubby too and all the spouses who’s supporting their lover on a fitness journey. Y’all rock!

Summer is only 4 months of the year and we heavily tell ourselves we have to work hard to look a certain way. What about the other 8 months? They deserve the fittest version of you too. You deserve the fittest version of you year round. Love yourself at any stage you’re in, but constantly work to be a better version of you. There’s 365 days in a year, if you haven’t started on your fitness journey, it’s not too late.
