Diana Cameron McQueen is a actor, designer, producer, model and artist. She is modestly fluent in Japanese and hopes to merge her acting and language skills. She had the honor to portray Queen Elizabeth I in The Lost Colony from 2013-2014. She’s best known in NC for her portrayal of Vanda in RLT's 2015 production of Venus in Fur, which had an extremely successful, sold out, extended run. Since then she’s worked across North Carolina and briefly in Seattle, WA. She is represented by Devise Talent Agency in the South East and Seattle Artists Agency on the West Coast.
Reviews for Venus in Fur:
"McQueen leads strong 'Venus in Fur' at Raleigh Little Theatre -- Diana Cameron McQueen attacks the dream role of Vanda with gusto, growing in power as the play unfolds, manifesting Vanda’s dangerous sensuality with total aplomb. Tony Lea knowingly projects Thomas’ initial smirky confidence and later inevitable enthrallment with Vanda’s allure."
News & Observer, 1/19/15
"McQueen really shines in this role, managing to be pluckily charming and offensive all at the same time. On the flip side, however, she is able to slip into the prissy, well-spoken character of Vanda with ease, which wins over both real-life viewers and the character of Thomas. Indeed, some of the show’s best moments come when Vanda moves in and out of character with lightning-fast speed and accuracy."

Reviews as Queen Elizabeth I of The Lost Colony:
"Kudos to the actress who played the Queen as she stole the show."

"There were several actors who stood out to me for their wonderful performances. I thought the woman who played Queen Elizabeth I and the man who played Sir Walter Raleigh did a fantastic job. The banter between the two was very entertaining and witty and by far the best part of the show for me. "

"As far as the cast, the Queen was by far the best. Raleigh also did a great job. Their scenes were my favorites."
-tripadvisor.com, July 21.
"As the regal virgin Queen Elizabeth I, Diana Cameron McQueen exudes prestige, privilege, and more than a dose of a frustrated little girl trapped in this royal world, quick tempered and playfully brutal."
