Meet our co-founder, Rahmeka Fort. Rahmeka’s inspiration for partnering with Naomi stemmed from experience as an who sought out methods for closing disparities in the public health sector.

Rahmeka represented the state of New York on behalf of the Miss America Organization as Miss New York 2018. During that time, she also worked in the field as a . Through various academia and industry level roles at the site and sponsor level, Rahmeka has gained a variety of experience in a variety of therapeutic areas ranging from Chronic Kidney Disease, Cardiology, Rare Diseases, and Neuromodulation. She spearheaded contingency plans during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic that were distributed company-wide.

Rahmeka has curated, implemented and developed training materials that were utilized to train new site staff on SOPs, clinical protocols, Corrective and Preventive Action plans, and local, state and federal regulations. She has worked with teams at grassroot levels to pioneer Chronic Kidney Disease legislation across her home state of North Carolina and in New York State during her tenure as Miss New York 2018. Rahmeka is committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in clinical research through the implementation of and its initiatives.

Aside from research, storytelling, and advocacy works, Rahmeka enjoys spending quality time with her family, traveling, cooking, and singing.
