SIX YEARS AGO, the idea of creating a gun safety PSA felt like a smart detour through so many gun-related issues. At least we could ALL agree that safety is crucial no matter what you believe. Writing this script, shooting with my daughter Eve, hoping this would be relevant and naively thinking a list of mass-shootings would not become dated... that was what fueled this.
TODAY, the conversation feels just as relevant. Guns are not toys.
