Searching for Common Ground (where i sit on the President's Council) has been working with Texas Evangelicals goes nationwide just in time for the 2024 elections
Evangelical Pastor Bob Roberts appeared on PBS Newshour last night to talk about the Peacemakers Toolkit we just released. Search for Common Ground (https://www.sfcg.org/) was not mentioned in the interview (we were referenced at the top as "other experts") but in fact our CG-USA team secured and managed the funding, recruited all the partners including Pastor Bob's Multi-Faith Neighbors Network (https://mfnn.org/) and managed the overall program. This toolkit is now being distributed through faith-based networks nationwide and the White House is set to distribute it to their mailing list of 70,000+ faith-based institutions.
In the lead-up to what may be the most divisive elections in U.S. history in 2024, I am thrilled that SFCG was able to develop this highly practical toolkit with "practice cards" developed from real scenarios that pastors and other religious leaders have faced; a "starter pack" that situates peacemaking within the Christian tradition; and the full "toolkit". Pastor Bob also did great in the interview.
