Thank you to all who came and celebrated Lily this weekend. What a gift you all are to us. Around 90 of our Family, friends and teachers joined us from Canada, TN, Mt Vernon and locally. So much joy, love and support was extended. Our dear friends and Rob hosted us all. We are so thankful for you both and all who came out to celebrate our girl.

The last but also the beginning. you are ready for your next adventure. We are thrilled to watch you soar.

Oh the adventures that are in front of you my love, Angel, you have wings baby. There goes my girl, off to love the world. You don’t come home to do your laundry, you come home to see your Mama.

Celebrating 21 years of being married to my hero. I will continue to choose this man everyday for the rest of my life. Choosing Travis means,
I choose to be close to Jesus so I can love my husband better. Choosing this man looks like me being aware of myself so I can grow and be be a safe place for him. Married life needs lots of grace, forgiveness and not keeping record of wrongs. Humility and vulnerability. Communication is key and the willingness to fine tune these skills even after 20+ years. I am grateful every morning when I look over and see him, knowing that he is choosing me just as much as I am choosing him. ♥️

Happy Mother’s Day! I wouldn’t be the Mama I am today if it weren’t for your incredible example of love. I see so clearly all the sacrifices you have made for me throughout the years. I thank you for loving me through every season of life, the good and the ugly. You are my dearest and I love you more than words can say. gus27

Happy Birthday to my amazing Dad!! He is joy, loving and an incredible spiritual leader to our family. Oral Gustafson works harder than most and is committed whole heartedly to God and his family. I love you Daddy and am honored to be your daughter.

My dearest Lily, in one month from today you’ll be graduating high school. My heart and mind are struggling to grasp the reality of these lasts. Lasts of the mornings before school, making you a bagel, helping pack the lunch and hearing what the day ahead holds for you. You walking through the door at the end of the day and knowing just by the look on your face if it was a good day or not. Hearing how your day was, the drama that took place and what your mark was on your latest assignment. So if I’m quiet and you catch me staring at you or I cry at random times, you’ll know why. I am immersing myself into each moment with you. I’ve been catching myself longing for the days when you were tiny and we would take naps together. We went for walks, picked flowers and watched Praise Baby before bed. I would just stare at you, enthralled that you were my baby girl and how long your eyelashes were. I guess not much has changed because I am still as mesmerized with you today, as a young woman as when you were my little Lily Mae. Thank you for being gracious with my heart and for letting me stare at you. Joining me with watching Gilmore Girls, spontaneous evening adventures and for singing Taylor songs to me. I am loving every moment together and will be holding onto you a little bit tighter over these next 32 days. ♥️

Happy Birthday to the incredibly heroic, loyal and strong Travis Kincaid! We adore you and are thrilled that we get to celebrate you and live each day with alongside you. So much love to you my Love.

We as parents were given the opportunity to honor our graduates with time to speak our hearts for them. It was a beautiful time and full of tears. Then shortly after Lily finished up her cheer season with an awards night. What an incredible season it’s been to watch her lead the team and step into mentoring and loving on her team mates. Lily is in full bloom, oh she’s radiating such beauty inside and out.

Knowing my Nana accelerated my relationship with Jesus throughout the years. The pattern in which she lived her life is the legacy she left for us.

Lily was given the opportunity to spread her wings this summer. Through the years Blakely Island has been the Kincaid families gathering spot. Travis’ parents live on the island full time, so Lily was able to live and connect with her grandparents while she worked full time in the marina store. She thrived! Broadened her comfort zone, worked hard and built relationships. We are so thankful that she had a great launch into the work force and flourished.

VBS 2021 was a gift for these two boys! So grateful for all those that poured into them this week.
