How to know the will of God?

This is so important for turbulent times: Find brothers and sisters who worship God with a pure heart! 💪🏼

The Lord is above everything.

Simple phrase, yet so profound: The Lord is in control of everything. He is above everything.

Don't be discouraged!

"If God is for us, who is against us?" - Romans 8:31

Simple and good:
We can really learn something FUNDAMENTAL from plants.

When was the last time you really rejoiced in the Lord?

HE is our strength.
And HE is our JOY!

Don't wait for another Billy Graham for a revival.

Don't get me wrong: Billy Graham was a GREAT preacher! 🙌🏻

But revival will likely not happen like that again…
But it may start with you.

Fear the Lord, and live under His guidance!

will be your motivation, but only if you have a clear goal in sight.

Others might be struggling too.

May the Lord use you to encourage those around you.

And if you know that something is hindering you, do not wait for a perfect moment. Separate NOW from what is stopping you from walking close to God!

A big highlight of last weekend (for me) was when some people who came to me after a sermon and handed me a gift for my wife. That really touched us a lot.

Seek the presence of your Lord!

And often the problem is that we are just too distracted to listen properly, right?

That’s what it’s about.

Spend time with the Lord.
In His presence.
In His Glory.

We have all received, grace upon grace.

Even if it hurts.
Even if it’s not fun.
God will correct us.

Why?

Because He loves us.

Hebrews 12:6 says: "For the LORD disciplines those He loves, and He punishes each one He accepts as his child.”

Don't take discipline lightly.
Don’t lose heart when God rebukes you.

Hebrews also says: "For what son is not disciplined by his father?"

In other words, if we do wrong, and are NOT disciplined… than we should ask if actually have a relationship with the Father.

"God disciplines us for our good, so that we may share in His holiness.

No discipline seems enjoyable at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it yields a harvest of righteousness and peace to those who have been trained by it…"

Let us be ready to confess,
and eager to repent.

Death was all around them...
Only 1 thing that could save them...

Do you know the story of the children of Israel in Numbers 21?

They were suffering as a result of their own failures – and the result was death. 💀

Their only hope was to rely on something other than themselves. They would be healed simply by looking at the bronze snake. This left no doubt that it was God's power – and not their own power – that brought healing.

Today it’s no different…
Likewise, all people suffer as a result of sin (Romans 5:12).

Jesus Christ was lifted up on a cross and, in a manner similar to the bronze serpent, offers salvation to all who look up.

What is the deadly poison infecting us today?
Is it killing people in the church as well?

Natha speaks of this in his book “Surprised by Fear”, but he goes further:
The sollution of the gospel and the word of God is clearly layed out – and it will surprise you.

If you are honest, you will confess that you are not perfect.

Furthermore, you will you will have to say that, more often than not, you do things that you actually hate doing…
