The speed showcase is going great! Lots of interest in what our small community is doing!
Representatives from The Cougar Den and the CAM Digital Media class are attending the Future Ready Iowa 2022 Summit! They will be listening to many speakers from the STEM Council, including Governor Kim Reynolds! They will also be participating in a ”speed showcase” where they will have time to speak with individuals about the services our classes and The Cougar Den offer!

Attention all Digital Media and Small Business students for the 2022/2023 school year.
Mrs. Miller is planning a "Meet and Greet" for you all to meet your new instructor, Mr. Rick Taylor! He is anxious to meet everyone and get to know you before school starts. We will be serving pizza and pop to all of you as well! It will be a fun evening! We are planning this for Tuesday, August 2nd, at 6:00pm at the Cougar Den! We have a couple of small projects to work on as well, so you can show Mr. Taylor how the vinyl cutter and the t-shirt press works. Please comment below if you plan to come!! We need to know how many will be there, so we know how much pizza to order. You can text Mrs. Miller as well, if you would prefer. Hope to see you all there!

The CAM Cougar Den will reopen on Saturday, August 6th, during the Anita Whaletown Days! We have several projects that individuals and groups have ordered, which will be done on time!! We plan to be open on August 6th, from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Thank you CAM Community for your support!

It was a good day at The CAM Cougar Den. A special thanks to Cheryl McCaskey for coming in to visit with us about the Anita Sesquicentennial celebration in 2025! We talked about a lot of possibilities, and there's some great projects for our students starting next fall!! Cheryl did a Facebook Live in the Cougar Den on the Anita Sesquicentennial page, to share some of our thoughts! We also sold a few things! Thank you CAM community for your awesome support of these kids! We will be open next week for the Mud Bogs! See you then!! ---Mrs. Miller, soon to pass the baton to Mr. Rick Taylor!! The Digital Media Class wants to wish Mr. Fogleman the best as he moves on to new adventures in his career. They made him a desk plate that says, "Mr. Fogleman". Thank you to the Wray McDermott Memorial Show organizers for asking the Digital Media class to create the Winners' Banners for the show! A huge shout-out to Brant Will and Caden Will for creating the design in Photoshop, and to Rylan Oglesbee for printing all of these on our poster printer. We finished with two days to spare! This was a big undertaking, but we made it happen!!! Best of luck to all the participants in the show on Saturday, May 28, 2022!!

The CAM Small Business class completed the t-shirt order for the Cass County Sheriff's office. Gavyn created the designs, while Makayla and Ryan put them on the shirts. Spencer Walton, from the Sheriff's office came to the school to pick them up. Thank you for the business!!!

The Cougar Den will be closed today and tomorrow, due no adult supervision available today and the students out of school tomorrow.
