I find using a spread like this works best when it is read through completely before shuffling, and when each card's corresponding query is either said aloud or focused on before the card is pulled.

🔮 The Message: Fire, or need fire is often represented here. If you look at the rune the image looks like two rubbing sticks, which are used to create fire. "need fire" is an old folkloric pratice that was used when farm animals were diseased. Needing or wanting things can cause restriction, but also creates the ability to free oneself from restriction. What do you need? What do you want? Don't let these things restrict you, but free you. This is a rune of duality.

1.The High Priestess & The Rune Gebo

The High Priestess is associated with many archetypes, though I don’t always like to assign gender to these cards, I feel this is significantly an aspect of the “divine feminine” no matter gender. In a traditional tarot deck, the High Priestess sits in Solomon’s Temple and represents the third pillar there. With no roof over her head, beyond even the sky, is her limit.

The High Priestess serves as a mediator. In this card, she is adorned with a crescent moon on her head, meaning she has control over her emotions, is magical and ambitious. She is highly intuitive so now is a time to listen to your intuition. Meditation, prayer and spiritual focus are also indicated. The answers to the questions you seek are within, not on the outside. Remain patient if you have questions.

I feel this represents a guide for some people, don’t be afraid to approach or connect.

The rune “Gebo” means “gift "it can also be about generosity and even a wedding. Combined with the High Priestess, I don’t have much doubt that someone within the reach of this reading will become married or maybe even become pregnant, perhaps even find a new “love” and new relationship.

If the question at hand is not about love or romance, it could be about the discovery and development of a new talent or even a union in business.

Remember, when a gift is offered, it’s up to you to accept it or deny it. Accepting a gift can often put you in a position of reciprocation. I feel strongly here that learning to give without expectation of anything in return is very important to a few. For some, forgiveness is the greatest gift.

If you have/had questions about a specific person, I certainly feel the presence of a gifted, highly spiritual, intuitive presence in your life. Maybe it’s you!

2. Temperance and The Rune Laguz

Temperance shows us an angel, who’s gender is not known. This card in many ways is about balance, so the divine feminine and masculine are balanced. The water flows between the two cups in an even way. This represents unity.

Paired with the rune Laguz, which means “water "I feel like “going with the flow” is already happening, for a select few, you may need to focus a bit more on practicing this principle.

Remember, water is very powerful and cleansing. Water is vital, but can be dangerous and I do have a sense of that, so be very careful in and around water. This combination does not indicate danger. I just feel it’s important to be aware of the power of water, to do many things, be it something like washing your troubles away, being free and flowing, or raging, wild and unpredictable

I don’t always like to point directly to certain zodiac signs, but the feeling and sense of water is very strong. Water signs are Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces. Though Aquarius, the water bearer, is an air sign, I feel it’s extremely important here because of the next card, the “Star” which represents Aquarius.

I’d like to point out here, that in traditional tarot, Temperance has one foot in the water and one on land, and so does the water bearer in the “star” card. I feel a very strong connection to earth and water elements here. There is also a connection between the High Priestess and water.

3.The Star and The Rune Berkana

The Star indicates a renewal or presence of power and universal blessings. Some of you have come through very difficult times and are now reaping the rewards or feeling relief from those challenges. I can’t help but think about the song “when you wish upon a star”. They say when you do that; “your dreams come true” and this card indicates it is so, be it in romance, business, relationships or any aspect of life you can think of.

This is very much so, having the Star and the Rune Berkana together.
Berkana represents the birch tree. The seeds planted are coming to life, new beginnings are happening. This is about new life, so as previously mentioned, someone (maybe more than one) will become pregnant in a literal sense. If that is not possible, consider adoption. New starts, sprouting seeds, new life can and does come to us, at times in unconventional ways.

We can give birth to many things, most of which I’ve covered here. Ideas, inventions, stories, art, music, relationships, business. If the seeds are not currently planted (which I feel is not the case here) it’s time to plant them. I also get a very strong feeling of someone wanting to write a book or even research paper that could have to do with water and earth. A science book, children’s book, book about the healing properties of earth and water, or even about climate change. This is your “go”, Do it!

This is about energy, life, fertility, success that is permanent, endless sources of all good things. It also has to do with health and healing. If you feel like something is dragging on, longer than it should, this indicates renewed energy and forward movement and of course, this is about summer and bright lights.
Who/what is a bright light in your life? I have too many to mention, but, as I refer to my own "sons" as "suns" or "sunshine", "sonshine", it's certainly a reflection of what is currently going on in my life. Saw my oldest today and will see my youngest again tomorrow.

In The United States, these are frequently called "sea beans" and yes, they do grow on beaches. This plant reminds us of the power and adventure of the ocean. In the Tarot this card is pretty much the same as the two of wands and reminds us, adventure awaits but we have to be willing to go out and seek it. if you feel stagnant or in a rut, it's time to change, and strike out into something new.
This is the opposite of yesterday's card which encouraged us to "hold on".

With The way things are in the world, actual adventure seeking, is not in the cards for some, but I say this all the time; you can live an exrodinary life, while living an ordinary one.
You can go on an adventure in your own yard, or nearby park. Adventure through reading, creating, listening to your favorite music and even day dreaming.

Adventure to the beach! I feel that is in my near future as I was just talking with someone about this over the weekend, and now, with being fully vaccinated, in two weeks, I will be free to do the traveling that was discussed. There is already a tentative "adventure" planned for the 15th of this month. Not to be beach, but certainly near water. I feel the water theme very strongly!

🔮 The Pine's Message: Pine has the ability to store, and preserve. It also has antiseptic qualities. During difficult times it speaks of holding on, instead of letting go. If you absolutely have to let something go, do it in a manner where integrity and compassion are perserved. Right before I pulled this card, I had a jumper, which I don't usually read, but it was the "abundance". Abundance is not just about money, but I feel in this case, and with pulling the "preserve" card, it's probably about holding onto, whatever it is that you have in abundance. Don't be stingy, but dole out those resources with thought and wisdom.
