Temperament
Goldendoodles of whatever generation are usually friends of everyone, people and animals alike. Because of their outgoing personalities, Goldendoodles also make amazing companions for people with disabilities. They are trustworthy, loyal, very gentle, affectionate, extremely smart, and highly trainable animals whom have an exceptional desire to please.
When given then proper socialization, Goldendoodles get along beautifully with kids, strangers, and other companion animals. They do not have a strong prey drive and can be quite compatible with cats and smaller dogs when introduced in a good manner. These are social dogs that thrive in the presence of people and crumble if they are not given time, attention, and affection. Just like any other dog, Goldendoodles can and will pick up bad habits, if left alone for long periods of time. Goldendoodles require moderate amount of exercise and can live happily in urban or rural environments. They are eager, willing learners that respond best to positive reinforcement and gentleness. Loud, or harsh corrections, also training by punishment are not helpful when working with these dogs, or any dog for that matter. Training and socialization should start while the dog is still a puppy and continue throughout it's life. A well socialized, well trained Goldendoodle is a happy Goldendoodle and a wonderful companion for all. Behavioral Traits
Goldendoodles are one of the fastest growing breeds for a reason. With that classic movie dog loyalty and constant willingness to please it's no wonder so many people are diving into the doodle world. But of course, just like any other breed, if left unattended in a crate or elsewhere for long periods of time, a Goldendoodle will become bored and lonely, and may become depressed, can suffer separation anxiety and also destructive. Anyone considering acquiring a Goldendoodle need to be sure that their lifestyle and schedule will permit them to spend lots of time with their new companion, so that behavioral problems can be prevented or nipped in the bud. They should also be sure to get their Goldendoodle from a reputable breeder licensed by the state. With these few thoughts in mind, the Goldendoodle is an excellent choice for someone who wants a fluffy, cheerful canine companion that is not too high maintenance but still energetic enough to share an active lifestyle. They should not have to be alone more then 4 hour's a day.....
F2B
This type of doodle is a second generation backcross. This means an F2 or F1B bred to an F2 or Poodle. This generation of doodle is less common than the other generation breeds. They have the same characteristic mentioned above, yet provide more colors. They also work well for families with moderate allergies because the are generally non-shedding

Rawhide (only under close supervision). Doodles are infamous for eating socks and other small undergarments - be careful! Squeakers and stuffing and rope toys should all be carefully monitored. Grapes, chocolate, alcohol.
Do not buy a dog bed; wait until the puppy is done teething and house trained. Care
Goldendoodles do require some decent attention when it comes to grooming to help keep them healthy along with preventing shedding. Some people will keep their hair clipped short to make things easier, but if you do keep your Goldendoodle’s hair long, expect to be brushing it at least once a week. If you keep his hair short, still expect to brush him every couple weeks or so. Besides brushing, Goldendoodles don’t actually need baths that often since they naturally produce oils that help keep their coats smooth and moisturized. They only require baths when absolutely necessary. Beyond that, they do need their teeth brushed 1-2 times a week, even daily if possible, to help prevent tarter buildup and other dental conditions. Their nails should be trimmed at least twice a month. If you can hear their nails clicking on the floor, then they are too long. Dog nails are sensitive and can bleed a lot if they are clipped too short, so if you are inexperienced with nail clipping, it is highly recommended that you seek out help and guidance from a grooming professional.
