A day out with a client ❤️

Hello everyone,

My name is Harriet. I am passionate about providing support for individuals to help them stay independent and receive high-quality care in the comfort of their own homes. I am fully insured with my vehicle and have been DBS checked. With 3 years of experience in both care homes and community care, I hold a care certificate and have received training in various areas, including end-of-life care, dementia, medication awareness, nutrition, safeguarding vulnerable adults, infection control, food safety, COSHH, equality and diversity, as well as moving and handling. Additionally, I am familiar with the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS). I also have personal experience in caring for a family member with autism.

Starting in September, I will have availability to take on another client for teatime/evening visits a few days a week.

The services I can provide for you or your loved one include:

- Meal planning and preparation
- General housekeeping, such as dishes, laundry, taking out the rubbish, and changing bedding
- Personal care
- Medication support
- Companion for days out and accessing the community
- Assistance with shopping
- Companionship
- Pet care
- Communication with family for reassurance after each visit

Hi all, I will be leaving my job at the school, to focus on my business and my young family. This means I will have availability to take on a new client for a teatime visit at the start of September, this can include prepping a meal, dog walking, basic household tasks eg putting the bins out and washing up, and laundry, companionship, and personal care.

We had a lovely morning, with my client. We went to the beach, and it was lovely and sunny, and even got our feet sandy! ☺️ I am so lucky to have fun whilst working! I love my job!

I am now an National Association of
Care & Support Workers member NACAS, which comes with lots of benefits for myself and my clients. Such as, training support, legal support and counselling support for myself, DBS update service, safeguarding and much more ☺️
