Forensic Clinic was formed in spring 2007 in Mostar by the vocalist Karl Matthew Bošnjak, guitarist Goran Džidić and drummer Petar Parlov. Goran and Karl were members of the band Error before that, but because of different opinions on the future of the band and mainly the difference in musical taste they left Error to found Forensic Clinic (Nosferatu at the time) with Petar. As usual, the band fir
st started playing cover songs of their favourite bands, such as Death, Sepultura, Pantera, Testament, etc. By the end of 2007 the band started working on their own songs and this is when the Karl decided to leave the band. Goran, who has now taken the role of the vocalist as well, and Petar continued to work together on their material and as a result songs like Under the Pillory, which is the band’s first song ever made, Robe of Immortallity, Let the Payback Time Begin and many other unrecorded material came to existence. In the end of 2008 Zoran Pervan joined the band as a bass player. The next two year were quite busy for the band as they have done a lot of gigs throughout Bosnia & Herzegovina and Croatia and gained quite a following in the local underground scene. Inspired by this positive feedback from the crowd the band went into studio to record their first EP entitled Robe of Immortality, which was followed by a small number of gigs in which they have promoted their first recording.
2011 and 2012 brought the band a lot of changes. First, in the spring of 2011 Petar left the band and was replaced shortly after that by Marko Gačnik, who plays alongside Goran in Festival of Mutilation. Goran and Zoran already began working on their new material which was quite different and more complex and harmonic than the old songs. All of this meant that Zoran was to take the role of the rhythm guitarist and vocalist. In the beginning of 2012 the band asked their long-time friend Milenko Paradžik to step in as the band’s new bass player, which he accepted. In this new lineup, that consisted of two vocalists, two guitarists and cutting edge drummer and bass player the band played in three festivals in Bosnia and Herzegovina and presented its new material to their old and new fans. At that time the band finished writing the material for their first album. The band continued to work very hard and in 2013 they entered the studio to start recording the album. Soon after that, they released two video for the songs Atoned and The Railway which were an announcement for the upcoming album.
2014 brought new changes and not in a good way. Goran went to work in Zagreb, Marko is in Sarajevo, and Zoran and Milenko stayed in Hercegovina. The geographical distance, their jobs and private matters caused a complete standstill for Forensic Clinic. But by the end of summer things started to roll again. The album was now completely finished and the name and cover art for the album was unveiled. The album is to be called Lovelorn and the band is currently preparing new gigs in order to promote it.
