Former player spotlight: Many know Paige for her fun, upbeat, positive demeanor on the the field. Here is what she is currently doing at Millersville University. Keep it up Paige!

Today's is Paige Guinther! Originally from Souderton, PA, she's a junior pursuing a dual degree in manufacturing engineering and automatic and robotics engineering. Paige is currently the vice president of the Society of Manufacuring Engineers, founder and vice president of the Forging and Blacksmithing club, an RA in East Village, a member of the honors college and a member of the Technology Engineering Education Collegiate Association. "My favorite classes are always my engineering classes just because they fascinate me!" Paige says. "If I had to choose, I'd say it's between my metallic materials class I took my freshman year or the polymers and ceramic materials class I'm currently taking just because I love the topics so much." Her favorite place on campus is either the library or Osburn Hall. In her free time, Paige works as a lab technician in Osburn Hall or works to expand on her current class projects, taking a deeper dive and learning more about the areas that interest me most. Currently, most of her free time is going towards a project that she and a few other engineering students are taking to Accra, Ghana this summer. "My plans after graduation include earning a master's degree and spending a few years working in industry before returning to education to earn a PhD," Paige says. "My end goal is becoming an Engineering Professor!" Paige explains she feels her favorite quote is "super corny," but she thinks about it every day. "It's from a conversation online where someone says something like, 'This will take 3 years to do! That's way too long,' and the response is, "The time will pass anyway." I like to think of that sometimes when I'm stressed or upset.
