This has got to be my favourite oils to use on my fine hair. The rich exotic blend of Tamanu and Monoi Oils does not weigh my hair down! I use it mostly after I’ve dried my hair to add shine and seal in moisture! And throughout the day especially this time of the year when our hair gets robbed of its natural moisture. Great for taming any flyaways as well!

“root melt vs. root smudge. what’s the difference? ⬇️⁣
⁣
➖ root melt: this technique is perfect for clients wanting a deep, rooted look. when doing a root melt, i like to use a color 1-2 levels darker than the client’s natural. i apply the color 2-3 inches from the root and let it process 10-20 minutes, depending on the look i am going for.⁣

➖ root smudge: this technique is great for clients wanting a lived in look while still maintaining brightness. for this look, i like to use a color the same level as the client’s natural. i apply the color about an inch from the root and let it process 5-15 minutes, depending on the look i am going for. ⁣

Not just an average correction as we were dealing with reactions to colouring and medications but in the end it all worked out! And my new client left with a great big smile!
