Cambodian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics - SCGO

The health education on cervical cancer was held on 01-02 February 2023 at Phnom Penh Municipality Department of Education, Youth and Sport targeting 800 primary school teachers in Phnom Penh, and honorably presided over by her excellency Prof. Kruy Leang Sim, Under Secretary of State and Chief of Cervical Cancer-Ministry of Health, Mr. Ouk Chantha, Deputy Director of Phnom Penh Municipality Department of Education, Youth and Sport and Prof. Koum Kanal, President of SCGO. This was done under the corporative project between SCGO and JSOG with support of JICA. The main purpose of the health education was to send very important information on cervical cancer prevention to school teachers, as they are key actors for enhancing knowledge in the community.

The 21st Midterm Seminar of Cambodian Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics (SCGO) which held on 25 June 2022 under the topic “Improving Maternal Newborn Health”. The main purpose of seminar was to promote Gynecology and Obstetrics. Furthermore International speakers (from Japan, Thailand, India and Canada) share their experience through live presentation and national speakers presented from Phnom Penh Hotel from 7:30am to 6pm. It is good opportunity that community through enhancing the knowledge of 275 participants, who are the members of SCGO, that got sharing from International speakers and national speaker who had experience. The 20th symposium was held, on 27 November 2021 through Microsoft App from 7:30am to 5pm, under the topic “Maternal and Newborn Health”. The main purpose of the symposium was to promote Gynecology and Obstetrics. Furthermore, International speakers (from Japan, Thailand, India, and England) share their experiences through live presentations and national speakers presented and live from Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh Hotel. It is very good opportunity for the community through enhancing the knowledge of 244 participants, whom they are SCGO members.

9- Early diagnosis, prevention & treatement of UTI in pregnancy
10- Treatment Fibrome by Embolisation
11- Update use of progestogen in Miscarriage Management
12- Early Invention to reduce Allergic Risk and Enhance Gastrointestinal Intolerance
