There are over 9,500 skin cancer diagnoses every day, and on an average, two people die every hour from it. More people are diagnosed with skin cancer each year than all other cancers combined. With stats like this it’s a mystery why many people don’t use sun protection, but a survey from the AAD showed that even though they know they should, many Americans still don’t protect themselves from the sun.
