This was my first time using multiple wireless USB mics with a multi-camera setup, and it's a lot to juggle in real time. I'm still experimenting with the format and figuring things out, but we're getting there. The more I do, the better it will get.

It was super cool to talk about some different stuff with Ian and he brought some really fun stuff for us to listen to. Some of it was a *little* off-brief but it was all cool and fun to learn about.

I'm hosting this 80's Metal Night tomorrow at Poetry Lounge in Millvale. 9PM - Close. No cover charge. Just killer jams and good times.

The "big idea" here is to create a space for people in the metal/rock community to get out of the house and socialize for a few hours without the added hassle of also dragging their gear across the city to play a set. If you're not in a band and just love this music, this is obviously for you as well.

I'll be spinning all kinds of stuff, from legendary staples to the totally obscure. Come hang out!

Posting this at 1AM may be silly, but nobody sees anything in "real-time" anymore. It's all about the algorithm, baby. So whenever you see this, I hope it's a good time for you to hang out with me and some records.

I did the first "test run" live stream for Wasted Years tonight on Twitch, but anyone who missed it can watch the full archive on YouTube. I got some bigger ideas moving forward for the future of these channels but it was cool to get everything set up and make sure it was all working.

Thanks to the homies who came to hang out and helped me work out some tech issues. Really looking forward to doing this again. Stay tuned!

This is a small update/announcement for the headbangers.

I just finished putting together this new space to facilitate livestream DJ sets and hangouts. Tomorrow night, I will stream my first "set" at 8 PM on Twitch.

In full transparency, this will be an experiment for me. I'll be spinning all kinds of random '80s Metal stuff, hanging out, and figuring out how this whole "streaming" thing will work moving forward.

Eventually, I want to bring on guests and create something more substantial than "me listening to records alone on the Internet," but I have to get the basics down first. So, if you find yourself bored on the internet tomorrow (Sunday, March 17) between 8 and 10 PM EST, come hang out!

This is also a reminder for those of you who may wish to headbang with me in person: Don't forget that I will be hosting LAWLESS: All Vinyl 80's Metal Night at Poetry Lounge on Thursday, April 4th.
