The Department through the Limpopo Wildlife Resorts (LWR), will be giving free access to some of the Provincial Nature Reserves from the 11th – 17th September 2023 as part of tourism month celebrations since September is . The nature reserves that are identified for free access during are Blouberg, Nylsvley, Lekgalameetse, Doorndraai, Rust de Winter, Mokolo Dam, Schuinsdraai , D’nyala, Makuya and Wolkberg.
Thulamela Local Municipality hosted their Integrated Development Plan session, as a stakeholder in the municipality, the session provided ample information on what is going on in the our Municipality and plans ahead. A call for proper procedures and inputs from relevant stakeholders was made by our Mayor Cllr Rambuda. We are looking forward to more interactions and input from our members in a shaping our Municipality.
We look forward to working with Vhembe TVET College - Central Office in enriching our industry with well learned students.
Vhembe TVET College invited the association to its annual Corporate day event, the aim of this initiative is to discuss and give experience to learners who are preparing themselves for the workplace within the tourism arena. Our Chairperson Ms Thama Alica Ramulongo gave the learners a brief outlook on the association and its programs. Dr.Dima who is in charge of our Culture and Heritage portfolio also provided on the job insight into the tourism business. We look forward to seeing the growth of the learners and academia alike.
