This is our first time to raise this new initiative - do something different for the alumni community in additional to social events. Our first attempt to produce a series of video interviews of Indiana University Bloomington alumni at Hong Kong.
From ideas to the final product, it's impossible without the generosity and support from the local alumni community. First and foremost, this video alumni series will not be possible without host and the production crew, I like to thank my fellow alumni Mr. Horace Mui and his production company ME2 Production for the filming and post-production of the video series. I also like to thank my other fellow alumni Ms. Gladys Yuen from Commercial Radio for helping us as the host of this alumni series.
Finally, I also like to thank the alumni from different generations who accepted the interview for sharing their experience, thoughts and wisdom to our fellow and future Hoosiers.
Our first episode features Professor George Woo from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, who received a Master and PhD Degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1968 and 1970 respectively. In his interview, he will reveal his path to Optometry and his career after his return to Hong Kong, including the foundation Department of Diagnostic Sciences at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University that later established PolyVision, a well-known brand for eyecare in Hong Kong.
The first episode is available from IUAA Channel at Youtube. We attempt to produce the video at a professional level. Please feel free to provide any constructive feedback as we are able to improve the quality of the future episodes.

Thank you everyone who joined our dinner last night as we hopefully pick up the momentum since the pandemic. We wish to host a variety of events next year to connect all Hoosiers in Hong Kong
Hello all, this is Pong and I wish you all very well coming into the holiday season.
As we gradually resume our social activities after a long pause to the level “pre- pandemic”, we would like to setup a time for a gathering of alumni and friends over dinner 15 December 2022 (next Thursday night) at the Chinese Bank’s Association Limited located in Central. It would be a great time to get together and meet up after the long quarantine for those of in Hong Kong.
This is a more casual event held at a smaller scale, so seats are limited. Please reserve your seat by replying this message or contact myself or Christopher for more information. Thank you and hope to see you then.
