Sir Matt Busby Leisure Centre, a vital hub in North Lanarkshire, is at risk of closure.

We urgently need your support to highlight this issue and encourage the North Lanarkshire Council to reconsider. The center has become the heart of our community, offering a wide range of amenities including a pool, gym, fitness classes, and much more.

Not only does it provide essential facilities for our community's physical well-being, but it also serves as a home to numerous clubs like Bellshill Sharks ASC, dance schools, football teams, diving clubs, taekwondo clubs, and kendo clubs. Most importantly, it's where countless individuals learn to swim, a life-saving skill.

The closure of Sir Matt Busby Leisure Centre would have a devastating impact on the well-being, health, and sense of community in our area. It's crucial that we act now to prevent this loss. Without it, there would be only one pool on the south side of the M8, significantly limiting access to these essential services.
