My new capsule is full of fun prints and pops of color. Noa’s getting taller and taller and it’s been so much fun to try new styles for her!

The Holy Spirit was moving in that place yesterday- so much healing, breakthrough and deliverance. I’m still reeling from all that God did 🤯🥹.

It was a pleasure to sit with so many amazing women yesterday- their testimonies of sacrifice, love, motherhood and revelation blew me away 💐💕.

Why does contentment get such a bad wrap? In a world that praises ambition and productivity, being content is almost a taboo thing. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes it even bullies my brain, “How dare you be content when there’s SO much more?” So we chase- after more accolades, more accomplishments, better bodies, better titles, more money.

But when are we supposed to pause for moments of gratitude and contentment? When we’re old and gray? When we feel like we accomplished “the thing”? Chances are, if we train our minds to chase after stuff, it won’t know when to stop.

God has been faithful.

God never intended for you to be a people pleaser. Does He call us to love one another? Yep! Does He want us to serve and sacrifice for others? Absolutely!

However, if our motivations are coming from a fear of people being disappointed? Our works are dead. God doesn’t want us to move from a place of bo***ge. He loves us too much. We’re already free! HE solidifies our value and we’ll never lack when we’re fully engulfed in his love and will for our lives. 💕

3 Hard Truths About Friendship 💥!

1. There’s no such thing as a “no maintenance” friendship. You reap what you sow. If you’re looking to grow intimacy in friendship, spend time with people who have time to give you! Time creates trust and trust allows vulnerability.

2. Don’t sprint off at the first sign of discomfort. Conflict is an opportunity to learn more about yourself and the people you love. (It should go without saying BUT! If a friendship is abusive in nature- distance is best for your own safety.)

3.Accept the importance of proximity. We can all be influenced and swayed off of the path. Do your friendships make you a better person? Do they help you to grow intimacy with God and reach your goals? Or are they pulling you away from your values and principles? Choose wisely!

I was tempted to put “instagram vs reality”, but then I remembered that it’s all reality. My heart explodes for these two- One hug & forehead kiss from my husband heals me. When Noa lays her head on me… I melt. I love them with my whole heart.

Cause y’all got it twisted if you think a little human who p**ps herself and pays NO bills will ruin our day. We’re determined to put our marriage first so we can love her all the better and all the more.

Had the most powerful conversation about community and leadership at One. It was an honor to be with such loving, honest and servant leaders on stage. To see how God is using us- people with different backgrounds and lived experiences- makes me so happy! God is cool.

Being a community group leader (alongside my soulmate .carter ) has changed my life. It’s a family that blesses TREMENDOUSLY. We laugh together. we cry together. We share in our triumphs and challenges. It’s a soft space to land.

We need community. We aren’t meant to be isolated and we are not meant to do life alone. Creating a safe space with safe people is a seed that feeds not only you, but generations to follow 🌱.

The more we embrace the journey, the more contented and joyous we are. One of the biggest lies we believe is that our peace & joy are folded in the moments of tomorrow.

They say, “You can do a lot of things poorly or a few things well.” So, what happens when a season is calling you to do a lot of things?

This chapter is focused on harmony. I don’t need every area in my life to “sang”, but I DO need it to harmonize. My mom-life may not hit Whitney Houston notes, but it’s gonna give a lil’ note run. If my marriage ain’t giving Kelly Price, I’m hoping it’ll give a little Luther “woo woo” (IYKYK). Ain’t gone lie, my work life is giving Ray J “One Wish” at the Verzus battle 😩. So y’all just pray for me 😂. We’ve sown so much seed, and we have a lot to tend to.

What I’m trying to say is… God hasn’t brought you this far to leave you now. If he’s brought you to it, you have the power (in Him) to be a good steward over it. We have to use our resources, communities and time with God to find balance and focus. 🪴⚡️you got this! 🫶🏽

Happy Anniversary .carter ! Babe, you’re such a breath of fresh air and you’ve always been that for me. I’ve never met a person who GENUINELY doesn’t care what people think about them 😂. Recently, folks have been thanking me for the videos I’m posting. And listen…It means the world to me, but I have a confession: those videos are for me FIRST. We’re all in need of encouragement, healing and positivity.

Life can be hard. Sometimes it seems like being an adult is just… difficult conversations, filling out forms and clicking “forgot password”. But we have to remind ourselves that we’re called to live an abundant life- full of joy, peace, love and favor. We’re covered and protected by God.

So, If you’re looking out into the world and feeling discouraged, take a moment to encourage yourself. Take a walk, meditate, listen to your favorite song or pour a glass of wine, do you. You deserve.
