Writer Shanker Deo Dhakal the recipient of Bal Sahitya Puruskar and Sahitya Akademi Puruskar has been unanimously elected as the Executive Member of Sahitya Akademi and the Convener of Nepali Advisory Board.
This was decided by the Sahitya Akademi General Council Meeting held on March 11 at New Delhi.
Dhakal was earlier elected as the General Council Member of the Akademi.
The term is for the period of five years.
