Doucet Painting’s Story
Hello my name is Leonard Doucet owner operator of Doucet Painting. I love what I do! Painting became a part of my life early, I was 15 years old when I was fortunate enough to gain the trust of a local property owner to paint the porches of his 4 rental buildings for the summer. The gratification I felt from making the old peeling porches into almost new appearance the thank you’s from the tenants and owner was priceless! I was hooked!
A lot has happened since then, as I grew up I tried various other jobs and just could not find that same gratification. I had a growing family and needed more cash flow and started doing painting projects on weekends and holidays. The side jobs reminded me of that gratification from that first project. I am happy to say that this year I have decided to make painting my full time job!
