The clock is ticking on logging your CET credits. There are less than 50 days remaining until the December 31 deadline to record your credits in the FM LMS system. Don’t worry, there are plenty of ways to earn CET credits and keep your certification current. Here are just a few options:
· Attend FM and Leadership Courses, Symposiums, and training events
· Take advantage of the education and training you've completed under any of the DoD-recognized FM test-based certification programs.
· Explore the wide range of courses listed in the FM myLearning e-catalog.
· Through academic courses in the FM or Leadership fields
· Did you know that instructors, discussion leaders, or speakers who present FM or Leadership learning activities can earn CET credit for preparation time?
Stand with us today as we celebrate our veterans and thank them for their service in defense of this great nation. Words alone cannot express our appreciation to all our veterans united in a shared sense of duty, commitment and passion. To those veterans having served, or still serving in the DAF FM family, a special thank you all for your service. Happy Veterans Day!
FM Team,
Please join Maj Gen Greiner and me in congratulating the following officers selected for Air Staff, Mil-Assist and other DT vectored positions for Fall 2024. These officers were closely evaluated by FM senior leadership at the Spring and Fall Officer Development Teams and hand-picked for these opportunities.
Each of these officers are truly deserving of their new positions, and we look forward to watching them serve in these roles over the next few years!
Regards,
Carlos

Today, we celebrate the 76th birthday of the United States Air Force. The United States formed the Department of the Air Force (DAF) after Congress passed the National Security Act of 1947. Before then, the Air Force first served as a part of the Department of the Army’s Signal Corps, tasked with providing aviation support to combat forces. Today the Air Force continues to fulfill its duty to safeguard American interests by maintaining dominance over the skies and supporting US military forces on the ground. The DAF Financial Management team supports these objectives by ensuring the Air Force’s resources are acquired and utilized efficiently and its people have the support they need to achieve their mission.
FM Team,
Please join Maj Gen Greiner and I in congratulating the following selectees and alternate Financial Managers on their selection for Group Command. This is a testament to their leadership and expertise displayed throughout their careers to serve in these key command positions. This is a huge accomplishment and I have no doubt these are the right individuals to build and inspire the next generation of innovative, ready, and resilient Airmen and Guardians.
Congratulations to all!
Regards,
-Carlos
