One of the best features of the Filletzall blades is that Anglers/ Guides, are using the Filletzall blades for a very long time before needing to sharpen the blade. We have had feedback from guides that have cleaned 1000+ Redfish with a single blade without having to be sharpened, a striper guide used his for 1.5 years before thinking about sharpening his blade.
This helps get the fish cleaned faster.
Yes I know that these numbers are hard to believe, if someone was to tell me this without me having experienced the longevity of the blades I would be very sceptical.
But by having used one blade for a full year on a offshore charter service without sharpening personally I tend to believe them.
Yes it is true, that all one needs to clean a fish is a sharp fillet knife, but when one is having to clean a large number of Fish on a regular basis, the Filletzall Badthruthebone blades and a compact sawzall is the best way to go.
The Electric fillet knives that have been on the market for years have many short comings. Which I swore off of 25+ years ago.
Have had countless anglers thank me for giving them a better option, something that would last and do the job that it was intended to do.
I personally have been cleaning Red Snapper next to another boat, same amount of fish, started cleaning at same time, and I was done by the time the other Captain was on his second fish. This was not a planned test just happened. Yes I went ahead and cleaned his catch also.
