to meet as a state to create consistency and cohesion is just one way CAI leaders in Texas are working to advance community associations.

Meet Robert Young, Business Development Manager with United Protective Services. Robert has been a member of CAI since 2021 and currently serves on the Board of Directors. When asked why he loves CAI, his response was "The people and the environment. It can be intimidating walking into rooms with lots of people I don't know, but I felt welcome at CAI right away."

• Which living person do you most admire? My fiancé Lauryn.

• What do you consider to be your greatest achievement? I recently closed on my first home with my fiancé Lauryn, it was a pretty big milestone for us.

• What do you value in your friends? Loyalty, respect, and trust. If they have Wake surfing boats it’s a bonus, I’m not there yet. 😉

Meet Crys Sanders of CertaPro Painters, Business Partner, and Board Member Extraordinaire. Crys has been a member of CAI for over 10 years both as a CAM and Business Partner. When asked why she loves CAI, she said "I love the camaraderie and support it provides both Managers and Business Partners. No matter what stress the industry brings in any role, we can support each other in being successful.

* Greatest Achievement? My daughter. She is a constant reminder of the greatness I am capable of. Also, understanding the importance of mental health and implementing healthy boundaries. It’s a vital part of life and often overlooked.

* Most overused phrase you use? You get what you pay for.

* What do you value in your friends? A friendship that meets you wherever you may be in life and encourages you to remember who you are and how far you’ve come. Empowerment is key, I am so lucky to have an awesome foundation of friends to lift me up through every phase and stage of life.
