www.MKaltenbach.com Megan Kaltenbach of Centennial, Colorado is a full-time model living in the Financial District in Lower Manhattan.
While working in front of the camera and at many showrooms in NYC, she became very interested in the fashion scene and started following and keeping up with the new trends! In May of 2009 she started making necklaces to fulfill her love for fashion. She soon started wearing her designs around NYC and getting compliments on them. After making a few custom pieces for some clients Megan realized the
passion she had for creating fashion jeweler. Megan’s Colorado roots inspired MKaltenbach and therefore has a western inspiration and a very earthy natural feel to it. The line also is made up of mostly natural materials; turquoise, amber, pearl and agate. Every piece is handmade in New York City and all the Brazilian agate stone pieces are one-of-a-kind because of the infinite number of patterns the stones come in. No two stones are alike therefore each piece varies in size, shape, and color. All stones are also handpicked and examined by Megan to insure the agate is Grade A and it has beautiful coloring, thickness, patterns and/or crystals
She chose MKaltenbach for the name of her company to keep the legacy of her last name alive. Megan and her sister Katelyn are the last generation in the family who will carry the surname Kaltenbach, and she wanted to honor her Father's family by continuing the use of it for her company.
