Bearded Food Bandit
Ever tired of hearing “anything works”, “I don’t care you pick” or “I’m up for anything” this is the page that will get you out of your comfort zone!
If you’re a veggie lover, you’ve come to the right place! I recently had the pleasure of trying the Onion Chili Masala Dosa and the Saravanaa Special (thali meal), and let me tell you, there’s a lot to rave about.
First up, the Onion Chili Masala Dosa. If you’re a fan of potatoes, chilies, onions, and a medley of spices, this dish is a must-try. It’s served with a variety of chutneys, ranging from mild to spicy. Pro tip: mix and match the chutneys for an explosion of flavors—I live by the motto, the more flavors, the merrier!
Now, onto the Saravanaa Special thali meal. If you’re indecisive like me, this is the perfect option because you get a bit of everything. And when I say everything, I mean everything! From rice and roti to papad (a crunchy pastry with a chip-like texture), you’re treated to five different curry/dal dishes, two types of yogurt, and a sweet dish. With a total of thirteen items on the plate, the combinations are endless.
Both of these dishes are perfect for sharing, so grab a few friends and head over to experience the culinary delight for yourselves. Trust me, it’s highly recommended!
So I had the pleasure of checking out in Dallas the first dish is Panang Curry Bowl with chopped chicken, lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves and peanuts cooked in our scratch panang curry with choice of jasmine rice or brown rice and a side cucumber salad also has bell peppers, apple eggplant, onions, and potatoes. - my thought on dish; honestly it was really good like if you like a lot of flavor and veggies this is perfect; in all honesty is a better red curry, so if you like red curry and want to try something else this highly recommend.
I just wanna take a moment and wish everyone a very Happy New Years!!! To quote "Ring out the old, ring in the new, Ring, happy bells, across the snow: The year is going, let him go; Ring out the false, ring in the true."
Here’s to an exciting 2023!!!

There is no better experience then breakfast/ brunch but it’s even better on vacation and during the week; am I right!!??!! But seriously if your from the
area or just visiting y’all gotta check it out; the service let me say is fantastic very colorful at times and ill at leave it at that!!! You’ll know what I mean when you go… I promise. I had the “New Yorker” which had Philly style steak & eggs served with grilled onions & peppers and garlic aioli on a flaky croissant and tried the Beetch in a blanket which had Chicken apple sausage coated in pancake batter deep fried and dusted with powdered sugar served with honey jack syrup and Bc I was with family we tried the mimosa flight B/c when on vacation why not right
Tell me what y’all think!!!!
Ramen counts, right!?
Doing my part for
📸spicy chicken miso ramen
Ohhh I love it when you can just tell your sushi chief ; chief choice!!! And then come out with this beautiful dish I have a thought fish with a little bits of orange could taste so good!!!
So as you know I am very critical when it comes to steaks, especially if you’re known as a steakhouse you got to bring your A game; and let’s just say came to play with their signature 44 FARMS FILET MIGNON 10 OZ, WITH ROASTED POTATOES AND A SIDE OF SPAGHETTI WITH BLACK TRUFFLE ESSENCE . In its purest form, it’s juicy, tender and delicious, the steak cuts like butter, potatoes seasoned well and pairs well with the steak, now here is the kicker….the pasta. The combination of the pasta with the black truffle essence with pieces of the steak, really tastes like your somewhere else. It may look simple but the best things are , I will be back!
So I’m driving around and I found this . I give you Black Rock Coffee Bar] !! On the left you have a iced caramel truffle aka a caramel mocha, which I thought had bold flavors and was delicious. I felt it wasn’t overly sweet compared to a certain other companies, you know the ones I’m talking about (the green and white on every corner) but thought it was overly sweet. I’ll let the be the judge. On the right we have a breve which is a half in half with espresso. The barista recommended we try it with a shot of Irish cream syrup (relax people, no alcohol in this one) and we could not have been more pleased! It’s rich, creamy and velvety smooth. So if your ready to ditch the big name coffee company and those lines check out Black Rock Coffee Bar], I promise you won’t regret it!!!
Happy Friday call this a 2 for 1 post over at QUAIL KNOTS quail marinated in soy-honey glaze topped with sesame seeds with an asian slaw – so let me go out and say I’ve never tried Quail; for my 1st experience I will say it kinda tasted like a chicken thigh on a stick but this dish was on point. The combination of the elements was definitely Asian inspired dish, if you're feeling adventurous, give it a try at
SZECHUAN CALAMARI crispy breaded calamari strips tossed in shichimi togarashi seasoning, with sweet peppers served with sweet chili dipping sauce and spicy ranch, I know what my bearededfoodfamily is thinking “calamari aka squid”. What I loved most was that this dish is not too fried where the calamari is tastes like rubber. Hats off to the team on making sure it a quality dish.
When you’re trying out the finer things in life, there is no place is better than I’ve got to try a few items so this post is just to get your mouths watering. Let’s start with the appetizer with the (has Green Onions, Sriracha, Cucumber, Avocado, Sea Salt, & Wasabi Tobiko). I will say this being my 1st time trying Tuna Tartare it definitely reminds me of an ahi tower, so if you’re a sushi fan this definitely a must try, it does come with naan. I will say it’s a very balanced dish (not to overly spicy, not to overly salty just a very filling dish) easily a light starter for 2-4 people to enjoy or just for one really hungry person.
So I got to try the Tenderloin Bruschetta(comes with toasted baguette with cherry tomato jam, basil pesto, arugula, grated parmesan and balsamic reduction), a little about this dish, says its an appetizer but in reality I really didn’t want to share this dish with any of my friends that night , so for me the highlight of this dish was the cherry tomato jam, I can honestly say whatever they but on this bruschetta made it 10x better. This also coming from a guy who doesn’t like raw tomatoes. 10/10 recommend
Good Morning , I can't make this too long im gonna compact 3 post into one – I know im cheating your guys but I promise there is more coming from . All three of these desserts were awesome and cooked in-house. So let drive right into these desserts
Let’s start off with the crème brulee was good; but a little too “egg-ey” for my taste. Could have used a little more sweetness.
The key-lime pie was very well balanced not to sweet & not to tart and coming from someone whose not into tart desserts, I’d go back for this one.
But of course I'm a sucker for chocolate cake; so rich and moist I needed some milk after this cake.
Afterwards, I needed to take a nap, however, the management wouldn’t allow me to do that. But of course I'm a sucker for chocolate cake; so rich and moist I needed some milk after this cake.
Anyways happy Monday and hopefully this Monday goes by a little sweeter
Chicago I didn’t see this coming , besides the donuts the was amazing, I still have dreams about it and coming from texas the biscuit was on point, chicken was juicy as and like there lovin mixed with the spicy Mayo, avocado to cool you down and the jalapeños warm you right back up a must try if you in the area in the area
