Buckeye Arm Sports started in 1981, a few guys armwrestling from Ohio, started to travel to other states for tournaments , well come to find out back then, State tournaments were having armwrestling teams at there tournaments an thats how Buckeye Arm Sports started, that is the team name for Ohio, started by Dave Motz
The Buckeye Arm Sports Association has a number of purposes-
1) To Upgrade the
sport of Arm Sports ( Armwrestling ) by devising and maintaining a set of profeesional standards and establishing a code of ethics with which to achieve this Goal
2) To bring together a Group of interested an competent individuals to exchange ideas an to stimulate research an open thinking
3) To give individuals an oppurtunity to work as a group with a singleness of purpose, thereby making it possible fro them to achieve objectives that, seperately, they could not accomplish
The Buckeye Arm Sports Asocciation seeks through study and research, to imrove arm wrestling, not only from the standpoint of performance, but also from the standpoint of injury prevention, conditioning, and reconditiong
