Hello Guys!!!! Are you feeling cold?! so let's warm up with some memory of the summer :) :) :)
Here we are in our first exploration journey.
Our destination is Palermo, Italian Capital of Culture 2018.
Four days of study, analysis and research in which we, Brocool, have tasted as much as we could of what famously makes this city unique.
Art, Culture, Diversity, Tradition are for sure the main features that caught us... But what definitely makes Palermo different form many other city is the people that lives here.
This city stole our hearth and soul, tempting us with his delicious tastes.

EP. 9: Planet Matcha-backstage

In this episode, we arrive in a green planet like Matcha, where the river is made of Matcha (Japanese green tea powder)and then .....
Matcha tiramisù

It should be for 3-4 people, but we can't know if you are a real sweet tooth 🙂
For the cream:
-2 eggs
-50 gr of brown sugar
-250 gr of mascarpone (cheese)
-1 tbs of matcha or more (it depends on the color intensity that you want to obtain)
For the cookies bath:
-200ml of water
-1tbs of matcha
-12/15 savoiardi cookies or rice cookies.
Warm up the water, but don't boil it, and add the Matcha.
Mix the egg yolk and add the sugar and whip the egg whites in another bowl. Add to the egg yolk mixture the Mascarpone and the Matcha powder . Mix slowly and after add also the egg whites, until everything will be smooth and creamy.
Prepare a dish or single glasses , cups or whatever you'd like. Put on the bottom a little of cream and then the cookies, but first dive them into their Matcha bath.
Wet the cookies and place them on the cream. repeat until you prepare about 2/3 layers of cream and cookies.
Let it cool in the fridge for about 1 hour sprinkle it with some Matcha tea or cacao powder or cacao and serve.

Matcha tiramisù

Per 3-4 persone dipende da quanto siete golosi
Per la crema
2 uova
50 g zucchero di canna
250 g mascarpone
1 cucchiaio di matcha o più dipende dall’intensità di colore che volete dare
Per la bagna con i biscotti
200 ml di acqua
1 cucchiaio raso di matcha per l’acqua
12-15 biscotti savoiardi o biscotti di riso
Scaldare l’acqua senza farla bollire mettere il matcha e mescolare.
Mo***re i rossi di uova con lo zucchero e i bianchi a parte.
Unire ai rossi montati il mascarpone e il matcha in polvere, incorporare lentamente il bianco di uovo fino a rendere il tutto cremoso.
Preparare un contenitore unico oppure bicchieri, tazzine ,insomma a vostro piacere e mettere un pò di crema.
Mettere su un contenitore largo l’acqua con il matcha e immergere i biscotti e tirarli su subito e disponeteli sopra la crema.
Fare due o tre strati di crema e biscotti.
Mettere in frigo per almeno un’ora servire con una spolverata ti matcha o cacao in polvere.
