Mice Parade

About 20 years ago, we released a collection of oddball tracks, UK radio sessions, and snippets of effects loops that Doug had captured live on stage and used during our shows. It was called “All Roads Lead to Salzburg” and it was never released in Europe, nor to any streaming services - until now. It is finally available everywhere. It may not be for everyone, but at least the koto harp sounds pretty great on the radio sessions. Also the track list has now been corrected on Bandcamp. Happy Friday!

Today the Bem-Vinda Vontade LPs are out in shops everywhere! Also a few copies left on Bandcamp, while the last of the preorders are shipping this week. This poster is from our favorite show on the Bem-Vinda tour in 2005. It was a DIY festival in Iceland run by the loveliest people around, to whom we will always be grateful.

New pre-order up on Bandcamp today - after many years out of print, Bem-Vinda Vontade LPs are finally coming back. We are releasing a clear vinyl "Anniversary" edition of the album in March, limited to just 500 copies. It comes with a digital download that includes a bonus track - the rare Stereolab remix of "Warm Hand In Farmland." The album has been re-cut, and this pressing sounds even better than the original. Today is the release day for our new album. That means you can now stream or download it anywhere, buy the vinyl from your local record shop, add it to playlists and send it to friends. Also the last 25 LP copies are up on Bandcamp. Also this Milkweed flower smells super sweet and is the reason we have so many Monarch butterflies around here.

We’ve just put up a pre-order page on Bandcamp for the vinyl LP of our new album, the first in over a decade, featuring all of our touring singers over the years, as well as new guests Arone Dyer (Buke & Gase) and Angel Deradoorian (Dirty Projectors). We're releasing this one on our own label as well, sometime this summer, hopefully July. The album was recorded in bits and pieces over the last 8 years, mostly at Adam's home studio (www.kirtonfarm.com) as well as Gunni's old studio in Iceland. Pre-orders help ensure we make enough copies. We had a world tour set up that was cancelled at the start of the covid pandemic; we hope to put that back together at some point, meanwhile no more waiting to release this album. It's been long enough! Thanks for your continued support - it means everything.

PS - As noted on Bandcamp, apologies to all of you in Europe and Asia for the high overseas shipping costs. We don't control that. For a cheaper option, perhaps you could try ordering from a local independent record store after it's released. However, this is a limited pressing, so it might sell out quickly.
