Are you an active member of the ITI SPANISH NETWORK? 🇪🇸

Would you like to get more involved and get to know your fellow network members? 🙋🏻‍♀️

If so, then the committee needs you! 🆘

We currently have the following vacancies and are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to spare a bit of time to join us in these roles:

🟢Events Manager

- Planning and management of CPD and social events organised by the network.
- Acting as primary host for all remote events, using Zoom and Eventbrite.

🟢 Treasurer

- Managing the committee’s financial accounts, dealing with incoming and outgoing payments and providing receipts where necessary.
- Assisting and liaising with the Membership Secretary for subscription renewals.

🟢 Mentoring Coordinator

- Coordinating the mentoring programme, pairing up mentees with suitable mentors, according to their requirements and experience.

🟢 Social Media Manager

- Managing the network social media accounts and promoting events and news on all our platforms, as a confident social media user.

⭐️ Being a committee member is an excellent opportunity to develop your CPD and make a professional contribution, whilst raising your profile within the ITI SPANISH NETWORK, the Institute of Translation and Interpreting and the language services industry at large.

Spanish Inheritance Law Understanding Spanish Inheritance Law and Translating Spanish Probate Documents

📢 Are you a Spanish-English or English-Spanish translators considering specialising in legal translation? 🌍📚Then this workshop starting next week with experienced legal translator Julian Scott, will provide you with the essential foundations you'll need to get started.

In the 3-hour workshop across two days you will:

✅ Gain a more in-depth understanding of the Spanish and English legal systems, including court structure and the legal profession.
✅ Familiarise yourself with some terms of contract law and their meaning.
✅ Learn what notaries do, the structure of a notarial document and how a property sale works in Spain.
