Afternoon. As a realtor I am currently in contact with and helping a family that was SCAMMED HORRIBLY here in Cape Coral out of their rent and deposit of $4100! That's right, a family taken for all their funds and in the middle of moving out, now stranded. Not to mention they have two special needs family members. They are actively employed members of our community.

Real estate in Cape Coral: As building supplies slowly fall from the inflation highs, new home costs will decrease. Competitive builders will lower their asking prices, which in turn will lower all home values in those cities. Selling a home now may be at its peak point, before the years to come. As for buying, a hold until next year would be my current recommendation, that may change. Contact me for more information.

A lot happening in Lee County real estate. Market inventory still remains slim as demand for the areas have remained high. Construction materials and labor continues to inflate, increasing new home build costs. Land values climb as builders rush to build before buyers are priced out of the market. Things will top out though soon, and pricing will be forced a bit down as buying slows as household income will not increase enough in the area to keep up with the inflated pricing.
