Hint: Proximal Concord or Concord of Proximity.

b) have
c)has
Hint: Proximal Concord or Concord of Proximity.
The police asked the suspect if__
a) he has been to Lagos
b) he had been to Lagos√
c) they are in Lagos.
When two clauses are joined together, the tense of the first clause affects the tense of the second. For instance:
He says(present tense) he will(present tense)come.
He said(past tense) he would(past tense of will) come.
In that question, " asked" which is past tense verb requires "had" another past tense (past tense of has and have) in the second clause. Option "C" cannot be chosen because "are" is present tense. It is called "Law of parallelism" in English Grammar. Take note of that as many questions on it will still be sent
The police asked the suspect if__
a) he has been to Lagos
b) he had been to Lagos
c) they are in Lagos

In a sentence, whenever relative Pronoun "𝙬𝙝𝙤, 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 or 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩" refers to a previously mentioned noun, such noun becomes a relative noun. In such case, it is the noun/pronoun (either singular or plural) that comes before "𝙬𝙝𝙤, 𝙬𝙝𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙬𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙝 or 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩" that will 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐛 of such sentence. Take a look at this:
𝙔𝙤𝙪 who 𝙖𝙧𝙚 convicted should appeal
In the question above, the pronoun that came before "𝙬𝙝𝙤" is 𝙔𝙤𝙪 (𝙔𝙤𝙪: attracts plural verbs); that same pronoun (𝙔𝙤𝙪) will determine the verb of the sentence(𝙖𝙧𝙚).Alternatively, you can say:𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 convicted, you should appeal. Imagine:
-Fatimah is one of the ladies who know how to cook. In the sentence above, the noun that comes before "𝙬𝙝𝙤" is "Ladies" (plural noun);
that same noun (Ladies) will determine the verb of the sentence (know, Plural verb).

Aduke is one of those girls who___ how to cook very well
a) know √
b) knows
c) knowing
d) knew
A question of this nature had been posted before. And this sentence follows:
One of+plural subject+ singular verb
For instance: one of the girls knows....
One of+ plural subject+relative pronoun (who, that or which) + plural verb+ singular verb(if available, it is not available in the question)
For instance: one of the girls who/that know me is back....
Knowing is grammatically wrong.
And knew can't be used because there is no element of past action like yesterday, last week or such.
However, we may be grammatically compelled to use past tense even without those elements
For instance: it is high time we knew.
Any contradictory view or suggestion is welcome

d) this informations is
Uncountable nouns such as: information, advice, equipment, stuff and luggage should not be pluralized by attaching "s" to them. And using article "a" or "an" with them is also wrong. They always take singular verbs Take these:
This equipment is ... √
This advice is...√
I need an advice ×
I want a furniture ×
I want a piece of an information × .
They are always pluralized using partitive, for instance:
Four pieces of information are...
Moreover, this ( used with singular nouns) and these ( used with plural nouns) are demonstrative adjectives in that context, though they can be used as demonstrative pronouns. Consider these:
This book is..√
These men are.√
These book is/are ×
This men is/are ×
Any contradictory view or suggestions are welcome.
