Thanks guys for coming and joining Shan and I at Bells Rapids last night.
As ever things didn’t run as smoothly as planned and some dodgy gear choices added to the discomfort, but as ever, a bit of talent, strength and a lot of resilience and we get through.

There’s some really good stuff in here about shoes from about the one hour mark.
I thought I’d share as it’s been a factor for me recently. Recently bought some Saucony a8’s. Were going to be for racing and intervals only but love them so there getting some use. I end up with calves burning if I do too much in them as I’ve had to realign myself to run in them but the bottom line is I run better and faster.
I hate to preach about shoes as you can cause people harm if they’re dumb enough to listen, so good to hear it from some knowledgeable sources 🤔
