I had so much fun co-creating Nissa & Ben’s ceremony! With the help of I was able to help Nissa brainstorm. It was super important to me for them to be involved in the planning of the ceremony.

I asked Nissa what she wanted the ceremony to feel like, what she wanted the tone and the focus to be on. We focused on what words we wanted to use and how we wanted to say them and what unity activity would they be excited to do! While planning, we also focused on giving each moment, its moment! Not feeling rushed to do the ceremony but allowing to go with the flow and feel out the energy day of.

Being in that space with them was so beautiful!
This ceremony reflected who this couple is through and through!

A glimpse of such a beautiful ceremony and reception for Nissa & Ben! Intimate, intentional, authentic and radiant is what I think of this couple! So naturally, we had to create that for their ceremony and reception!

I loved partnering with Nissa & Ben to create something incredibly unique and special! ✨

I have to give a huge shout out to Nissa’s besties! Kristie, Kimberly and Loren! These ladies surrounded Nissa with the greatest support I’ve ever seen! They created a MAGICAL space for us to feel and see light and LOVE 🤍

As I met with 2 out of my 3 couples for the next round of wedding season I just thought to myself QUALITY versus QUANTITY. I’m obsessed with my next round of brides and grooms.

As a wedding coordinator I think it’s super important what kind of couples you want to coordinate for! You want to look forward to each check-in meeting, you want to root for your couple, their relationship and their wedding day, you want to genuinely advocate for your couple. I’ve really been enjoying the process lately. 🤍

I think the wedding industry IN GENERAL there’s MUCH pressure to have it all together, your branding, your target audience, who your preferred vendors are, who you’re associated with blah blah which to an extent I totally get. I’m still working on SEO shenanigans but I think that at the end of the day, you should take the time to explore what events and weddings you want to work and be part of. Take the time to explore what personalities your vibe and don’t vibe with.

Don’t be phased by other vendors’ journey.
Don’t be intimidated.
Don’t feel like you’re not enough.

Stay in your lane!
Listen to your gut + heart.
Instagram is truly a highlight reel. You won’t always see someone’s worst & failures. And I think that’s kind of the point! lol.

I’m just here for the REAL.
I want connection.
I want substance and depth.

Hello 29 ✨ I am feeling so grateful to be alive, I’m so thankful for all the good and not so good that’s happened and what hasn’t gone my way!!
I’ve lived various exciting milestones: getting married to the love of my life, moving to the city, finding a company I love working for, seeing consistent and steady growth in my coordinating business and most importantly, finding my fur baby Ozzie through . ❤️

Lots of tears have been shed, lots of sweat, many doubts have been thought but I am making it. God sustains me in my weakness and strength I truly can’t believe there was a time in my life I thought I wouldn’t be able to handle the weight and responsibility of these blessings. But we’re here and still standing ❤️

I’m on mission to continue fighting for my peace, creating and setting personal and professional boundaries, learning to embrace the good and not so good that life throws at me.

Years ago I wrote what I wanted out of life on a sheet of paper and I’m watching it become reality as the years go by ❤️ Thank you Lord for being near & here ✨

Don’t sleep on small scale weddings!! Brock and I had a blast celebrating with our closest family and friends. Our civil wedding ceremony was about 50 people and our symbolic destination wedding was 13 people including us. There’s various benefits!

✨Less $$$$ on catering/alcohol
✨Less $$$$ on chairs, tables, linens and decor
✨Connecting with guests will feel less daunting and nerve wrecking
✨When the guest count is less than 70 it’s easier for the bride and groom to feel like THEE GUESTS OF HONOR at their wedding!
✨$$$$ can be redirected towards the honeymoon, honeymoon outfits or bride and groom can start to put together a cushion when they come back to the real world.
✨ It’s easier for the bride and groom to stay by each other’s side the entirety of the wedding celebration. Bride and groom should Imagine a string linking the both of them together, staying attached to each others hips. It makes a difference! Reminiscing!! My first contract I sent out for my first wedding in 2019!! The 3 years after was mostly tainted by covid but I just wanted to encourage those who just started their biz in the wedding industry. I feel like I’m starting to see and feel the fruit of my labor, passion and intention in year 6!

Mind you, my biz journey is different than most because I’ve been juggling a full time job. It’s overwhelming at times but KEEP GOING. Stay in YOUR LANE! You are ENOUGH. Your ideal clients will come to you! Stay true to who you are and don’t compromise yourself + values for the sake of money or recognition.

Be patient with time. Be patient with yourself. You WILL see growth. ❤️

I love celebrating all moments of life- especially my baby’s first visit at his new vet!! Thank you for taking care of my Ozzie babe ❤️ He LOVES his new toy!!! Ozzie can’t wait for his next appointment, per my husband he did so good 🥹❤️ Ozzie’s favorite part was obviously the spray cheese 🤣

If you’re wondering where to get your wedding dress I highly suggest ! For my symbolic destination wedding I wanted a comfy but smexyyyyyy dress. Something that I’d feel incredibly confident in. Loren didn’t rest til she pulled this beauty form 🤩 I knew it was the one when I tried it on. I couldn’t stop smiling!! I couldn’t believe I was so nervous.
