Teens Reach is the teen advisory council of the San José Public Libraries. Teens Reach is a fun volunteering opportunity for teens between the ages of 13-18.

Teens can earn community service credit while supporting the library by assisting with library programs, fundraising, promotion, and representing the library’s teen point-of-view.

Mini Comic Zines – Create your own mini 8 panel comic in zine format on Thursday December 1st @ 3:30 PM

This month we'll be making 8-page comic zines about something personal – your pick on what is personal. Create a comic about how you clean your room, or make a review of your top 7 colors. Zines can be scanned, reproduced, and shared as you choose. Do it on paper or make a printable version on Canva.

SJPL libraries in District 3 include Dr Martin Luther King, Jr. Library and East San José Carnegie, Biblioteca Latinoamericana, and Joyce Ellington branches.

This month, we will learn a little about art, sketching, and color!

Teens Reach provides an opportunity for teens 13 to 18 years of age to gain community service hours, develop leadership skills, and meet new friends! African Art Class for Teens: Create with the Pros
