NAMI Ending the Silence is an engaging, 50-minute presentation that teaches middle and high school students about the warning signs of mental health conditions and what steps to take if they are showing symptoms of a mental illness. Our Ashley would have been 24 years old today. When I held her early in the morning of February 4, 1999, we had no idea how much she would impact our lives and the lives of so many others.
