Job Description:
Join our dynamic team at a busy mechanic shop specializing in electrical and drive-ability diagnostics. We're seeking an experienced Technician/Mechanic who is passionate about automotive repair and maintenance. While ASE Certifications are welcome, they are not mandatory.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical diagnostics and repairs.
Address drive-ability issues efficiently.
Utilize your own tools to execute repairs.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle needs.
Maintain a high standard of vehicle care and maintenance.
Demonstrate initiative in problem-solving and day-to-day operations.
Offer suggestions for operational improvements and facility enhancements.
Requirements:
Proficiency in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Excellent interpersonal skills for customer interactions.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
Ownership of a comprehensive set of tools.
Willingness to contribute ideas for improving operations and facilities.
Previous certifications and accolades in automotive repair will be considered.
Additional Information:
The mechanic shop is located off-site, equipped with 3 bays and 3 lifts.
Full-time year-round work is available, ensuring steady employment.
Compensation ranges from $18 to $40 per hour depending on experience.
