It was a great summer!
As we wrap up the first season of the M-57 Market, we want to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who came out and supported us! Yesterday marked our final market of the season, and we are truly grateful to the incredible customers who showed up each week to support our vendors. Your participation made all the difference, and we appreciate every one of you!
A big shoutout to our amazing vendors! 🙌 Your dedication, creativity, and hard work are what made this market such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!
To our fantastic volunteers and local businesses (especially White's Streetside Tavern for allowing us to use your space), your unwavering support and contributions helped make the M-57 Market a wonderful addition to our community. We are so thankful for everything you've done!
City Council Meeting
We believe that transparency is key to good governance. Currently, Montrose only posts agenda items online without further details. Other cities, however, provide entire packets with links and additional information prior to their meetings. There's no reason Montrose can't do the same.
Having this information ahead of time is crucial—it allows citizens to come prepared, ask informed questions, and ensure decisions reflect the community's best interests.
The MBA will continue to push for transparency and accountability because it is essential for fostering trust and encouraging active participation, ultimately leading to a more vibrant community.

Over the past several months, Montrose has experienced several internet outages, with the most recent lasting over six hours! These disruptions make it incredibly challenging not only for businesses to run smoothly, but also for students to complete assignments, residents to stay connected, and families to access essential services. Please take this survey to share your concerns about your service and how often you experience connectivity issues.
Genesee County launches survey to improve internet access The data will help them better apply for grants to upgrade internet infrastructure county-wide.
