Colin’s Story

Colin Scheetz was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a congenital heart defect. He fought every day for 14 years. He received a heart transplant on October 18th at the Cleveland Clinic, but succumbed to complications and passed away on December 11th, 2017.

In his short life, Colin had 7 open heart operations, over 30 cardiac catheterizations, and 100's of medical procedures. In the last 60 days of his life, he had 9 operations. Colin never complained and always had a smile on his face. He touched the lives of everyone he met. He was the definition of a warrior and fought the bravest battle against his heart defect. Our hero will never be forgotten, and his legacy will continue through this foundation.
