Well that's all she wrote folks! It's time for us to go back into our long slumber and maybe never wake up again.
Thanks so much to Vern's, Cheers, Balrogath, The Devil's Sons, Proud Dad Promotions, Do**he Knuckle, and the mighty 5 Cent Freakshow! Everyone did awesome and both shows were fantastic.
It was great being able to get together again.

Tonight at Vern's!!! A night of horror punk and Clint insults!
Red Deer was a blast last night but now we're stoked to return to Calgary.
Come see Conniving Cadavers play our first local show in years with 5 Cent Freakshow, Balrogath, and The Devil's Sons.
Hope to see a lot of old pals come out.

Spencer The Scarecrow has been the mascot for Conniving Cadavers since the beginning. He's actually named after the guy who suggested our band name back in the tenth grade.
An obvious homage to Iron Maiden's "Eddie," Spencer was originally a sneaky skeleton but we quickly realized that was a little too commonplace in the Punk Rock art arena so we changed him to the straw filled psychopath you see today.
Over the past 2 decades Spencer has gone on to appear on album covers, gig posters, banners, merch, music videos, and even real life stage cameos.
Fun fact:
The guy who Spencer was first named after had no idea about any of this. Not until about 10 years after the fact when our drummer actually became roommates with the original human and told him about this little tribute.
Needless to say the guy was stunned and even dressed up as the scarecrow to appear on stage during one of our CD release shows, bringing the whole thing full circle. He's in one of the pictures below.
