OOA 060700 April 2024 The MDRRMO of Midsayap conducted the First Aid lecture, focused on providing participants with essential knowledge and skills in first aid procedures and emergency response. Under the supervision of CPT HARRY T MENDOZA QMS (RET), Commandant, together with CPT REYNALDO A BUGACIA (INF) PA (RES), Assistant Commandant, SSG JAYPEE P DE BARRAS (INF) PA , Chief Clerk, SGT ALI ASGAR P PAGAO PA (Res), Assistant Coordinator, CPL RACHELOU D BELONIO PA (Res), GMA, RICA JOYCE B CUAJAO PA (Res),GMA. The lecture aimed to educate participants on various aspects of first aid. Participants were encouraged to actively participate in discussions, ask questions, and share their own experiences related to first aid situations. Practical demonstrations and hands-on practice sessions were conducted to reinforce learning. Throughout the lecture, participants gained valuable insights and skills essential for providing effective first aid in various emergency situations. The first aid lecture provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of first aid principles and equipped them with the confidence and skills necessary to respond effectively to medical emergencies in both personal and professional settings.

OOA 230700H March 2024, CPT REYNALDO A BUGACIA (INF) PA (RET) commenced the lecture by highlighting the significance of map reading in various contexts, including navigation, hiking, and military operations. He emphasized the fundamental components of a map, elucidating the importance of legends, scales, symbols, and coordinates in interpreting geographical information. CPT BUGACIA demonstrated the proper use of a compass for directional orientation and navigation. Cadets and cadettes were guided through techniques for aligning the map with the compass needle, ensuring accurate navigation in outdoor environments. Practical exercises were conducted to reinforce compass navigation skills. The lecture transitioned into route planning strategies, where CPT BUGACIA elucidated the process of selecting optimal routes based on map features and compass bearings. Cadets and cadettes actively participated in exercises focused on planning and executing routes while navigating through simulated outdoor scenarios. CPT BUGACIA underscored the importance of safety in outdoor activities, emphasizing the need for situational awareness and hazard avoidance. Cadets and cadettes actively engaged with CPT BUGACIA, seeking clarification on various map reading techniques and scenarios. The success of the Map Reading Lecture owes gratitude to the unwavering support of CPT BUGACIA and the active participation of cadets and cadettes, whose enthusiasm and dedication contributed to an enriching learning experience.

On 160700H March 2024 The collaborative knot tying lecture, led by CPT REYNALDO A BUGACIA PA (RES), aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of knot tying techniques. Sir Burgacia's expertise, combined with interactive demonstrations and hands-on practice, was a resounding success, empowering participants with practical skills and knowledge. Through engaging demonstrations, interactive practice sessions, and insightful discussions, attendees gained confidence in their ability to tie a variety of knots effectively. CPT BUGACIA passion for knot tying and dedication to sharing his expertise left a lasting impression for all cadets and cadettes , inspiring them to continue exploring and mastering this timeless art.

OOA 280800H February 2024, The Notre Dame of Midsayap College conducted a Seminar and Workshop on the "Role and Responsibilities of Barangay Peacekeeping Team (BPAT) and Self-Defense: Arnis and Weapon Techniques" It was a comprehensive event aimed at empowering the community with essential knowledge and skills. Held on 29th of February at the Notre Dame of Midsayap College, this program was a collaborative effort between College of Criminal Justice Education Faculty and staff, Community Extention Service, Supreme Student Government, JPCAP Officers, and the NDMC ROTC Unit.

The seminar commenced with an in-depth discussion on the critical role of BPAT in maintaining peace and order within the barangay. The lecture was conducted by ATTY. MAEDELYN AMELLA- ARMADA, RN about the Role and Responsibilities of Barangay Peacekeeping Action Team (BPAT) and Bartolome Aradaza MAED, about Self defense: Arnis and Weapon Techniques.

The Participants were educated on the various responsibilities of BPAT members, including crime prevention, conflict resolution, and collaboration with law enforcement agencies. Following the insightful session on BPAT, the workshop transitioned into self-defense training focusing on Arnis and weapon techniques.

They taught the participants the practical self-defense strategies using Arnis, and a Filipino martial art known for its effectiveness in close combat situations. Additionally, weapon techniques were demonstrated to equip participants with skills to defend themselves in potentially dangerous scenarios.

The program emphasized the importance of community empowerment through both proactive peacekeeping efforts by BPAT members and individual self-defense proficiency. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills, the seminar and workshop successfully provided attendees with valuable tools to enhance community safety and security.

On 17 of February 2024, The Notre Dame of Midsayap College hosted a captivating lecture by the 9th Field Artillery Battalion. The event provided a unique opportunity for 1st and 2nd class ROTC cadets to learn from the experiences and insights of this esteemed military unit. Under the leadership of MAJ JEAN PAUL S PERALTA (ART) PA, Commandant, Together with CPT HARRY T MENDOZA PA (RET), Assistant Commandant, SSG JAYPEE P DE BARRAS (INF) PA, Chief Clerk/ Admin NCO, Sgt Ali Asgar A Pagao PA (RES), Assistant Coordinator, Sgt Joyce Cathleen Mae S Gutierrez PA (RES), Tactical NCO, Cpl Rachelou D Belonio PA (RES) GMA and Cpl Rica Joyce B Cuajao PA (RES) GMA.

The lecture was delivered by 1LT CLEAH ANGELICA L LARIDE-ANTOQUE (ART) PA, CMO Officer of the 9th Field Artillery Battalion. 1LT LARIDE shared the unit's history, mission, and the challenges they have faced in their operations. The 9th Field Artillery Battalion, a part of the Philippine Army, is known for its expertise in providing indirect fire support to ground forces.

The battalion has a rich history, dating back to its establishment in 1956. 1LT LARIDE highlighted the unit's role in various conflicts and peacekeeping missions, including the Marawi Siege and the Zamboanga Crisis emphasized the importance of teamwork, discipline, and adaptability in the field of military operations. He shared stories of the battalion's successes and failures, providing valuable lessons for the audience. The lecture. The ROTC cadets were particularly interested in the battalion's experiences in peacekeeping missions. She also discussed the importance of building relationships with local communities and the role of peacekeeping missions in promoting stability and peace.

The lecture concluded with a question and answer session, during which 1LT LARIDE answered questions about the battalion's training, equipment, and future plans. The audience was impressed by the battalion's dedication to their mission and their commitment to serving.

The Notre Dame of Midsayap College ROTC UNIT participate in familiarization firing In Camp Segio Gonzaga, Sitio Estremos Brgy Poblacion Magpet, Noth Cotabato. The NDMC ROTC unit demonstrated its commitment to training and readiness. The event provided an opportunity for the cadets to gain practical experience in handling and firing weapons, furthering their understanding of military operations. Under the guidance of experienced instructors of Ssg Jaypee P De Barras (Inf) PA, Chief Clerk/ Admin NCO together with Sgt Ali Asgar A Pagao PA (Res), Asst. ROTC Coordinator, Cpl Rachelou D Belonio PA (Res), Cpl Rica Joyce B Cuajao PA (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA). The Cadets honed their marksmanship skills and developed a deeper appreciation for the responsibilities of serving in the armed forces. The familiarization firing exercise not only enhanced the cadets' proficiency but also fostered camaraderie and esprit de corps within the unit. This valuable training experience will undoubtedly contribute to the overall preparedness and effectiveness of the NDMC ROTC unit.

The said event was conducted by Cpl Rachelou D Belonio INF (Res) and Cpl Rica Joyce B Cuajao INF (Res), Graduate Military Assistant (GMA) of NDMC ROTC Unit. The Recognition Rites of Third Class ROTC officer Class LAGABLAB Batch 2023 was successfully held at Notre Dame of Midsayap College.

Recognition Rites is an equally memorable and significant event in the uniformed service. It is the day when Rotc Officer curtailed privileges will be lifted one by one. Primarily, this occasion on one hand tells the officers that they are being recognized to hold responsibilities.

Celebrations among the Officers

The Notre Dame of Midsayap College – ROTC Unit joined the 87th Founding Anniversary of Municipality of Midsayap, together with the GMAs, Advance Officers and aspirants. The Highlights of Founding Anniversary was “Sugbahan sa Kadalanan” where the national road was closed for grilling of different kinds of food that are to be shared with other people The activity was participated by almost 200 groups and organization which NDMC – ROTC unit includes.
