"In 1991, our results were withheld, and they were released two weeks later with a few points deducted. That did not bog us down. I completed a bridging course, joined an engineering college, and graduated four years later. Later on, I changed my career to aviation, and right now, I am a successful aviator. Most of my former classmates are also doing very well. The results for 2023 are tenfold better than the class of '91. The boys from the class of 2023 will shine in life."

We trust this message finds you in good health. We are thrilled to share an important update regarding the recent examination results.

As you may be aware, the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) initially withheld the results of Matinyani Boys Secondary School for a period of 12 days. We understand that this waiting period was filled with anticipation and anxiety for our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and hardworking students.

Today, we are delighted to announce that the results have finally been released, bringing an end to the suspenseful wait. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the commitment and excellence exhibited by our students, teachers, and the entire Matinyani community.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their patience and unwavering belief in the Matinyani school. Your support has been instrumental in achieving this remarkable success.
The results for the 265 students are as follows:
7 students achieved a remarkable grade of B+
89 students secured a solid B
124 students earned a commendable B-
42 students performed well with a grade of C+
3 students achieved a satisfactory grade of C
