Was gifted this gorgeous book authored by one of my favourite floral and landscape designers . I have been following her for many years, soaking up the beauty she designs, studying her style that resonates so deeply, and enjoying her delightfully comical and very real snapshot stories of her life as she sees it. I have just dug into this wonderful gift, and let me tell you, it will be a slow digest as I enjoy every page! This is a classically beautiful, inspiring piece of work I already recommend. I can't wait for teatime to curl up with it again! Well done !

We Remember...
Sir Henry Stevens, one of our friends who served as a tank commander in WW2 in Princess Patricia's regiment. Henry served His Lord Jesus after the war as a minister of God's word, this year leaving this earth at the age of 103, and is standing in Heaven before His Lord rejoicing!

Like Henry, we remember and thank all our service men & women who have given their lives and continue to give their lives in service of our country.
"Lord strengthen and uphold all our service people You have placed in various positions to protect this nation. And we give You thanks Lord for those that gave their lives for the freedom of many. You Lord Jesus above all understand that sacrifice for mankind...as You gave Your very life for the freedom of mankind. We are so undeserving of this immense sacrifice ...forgive us as we squander this freedom held out to us with no cost to ourselves. Today may our hearts be changed as we remember this great sacrifice. "

Just an update...

Our Floral & Vine website is getting a revamp so it's on pause at the moment!

Designed this floral fascinator for our special lady's High Tea birthday party ! Our sweet Mum turned 80 and we wanted her to feel like one of the Royals as she attended her Par-tea yesterday. The "Dutchess" was wearing a palette of reds and classic black. The fascinator had black netting, red tuiling, and flowers in reds and pinks that coordinated lovely with her natural silver. ❤
What a beautiful celebration we had!

Remembering the sacrifice today.
This is such a beautiful picture of my uncle Alf Savard. He served for Canada in WW2. He is one of the blessed ones who came home, married his sweetheart, had children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren who live free. I'm also one of his family who has lived a life free from war because of his, and countless others sacrifice. My thanks goes out to my uncle Alf, and the other servicemen/woman in our family who have served our country since then.
