Hey Black Q***r Folks! Come make art with us on Thursday! You don’t have to be good at art. You don’t even have to like it. Come and be in community. FREE! Adults only. Registration is required. Thursday, July 25, 6:30-8:30 pm. Register today.

We have moved artmaking from paper and canvas to the wall! On Friday, July 26th, 2-6 pm, you will be able to paint whatever you want in a classroom at Living School! Have you ever just wanted to paint really big without rules? Or do you have a child who really wants to take a crayon to the wall? Now’s your chance! Drop-in anytime between 2:00 and 6:00 pm on July 26th. Wear painting clothes and shoes. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free, but donations are welcome. At Living School- 6003 Bullard Ave., Suite 16.

Join us Saturday for our Second Saturday Community Artmaking! We will be inside in New Orleans East at Living School. Drop-in 12:00 to 4:00 pm. FREE! No reservations necessary. We hope to see you there!

Our regular Second Saturday Community Artmaking is cancelled, but join us this weekend for artmaking at several different Pride events!

Mayor LaToya Cantrell visited Rooted School yesterday. She visited our art therapy studio and listened to students talk about how they are supported by Whole Village Art Therapy. Students also led a discussion about Rooted and community partners that support student learning.
